Last game was pretty depressing. If we lost any other way, it would've been easier to stomach.

Mills suffered another setback Friday afternoon, it's disappointing, because we are thin at that position to begin with.

Playoffs with a rookie qb last year, getting us to 7-7 and we should be 9-5 but ok, it's up to you but if you let the greatest coach of all time leave or fire him, you'll be bringing in most likely a failure(Denver, Houston, Chicago and the other 50 coaches that coached in the AFC east and got fired since BB has been here) and you'll be begging for him to come back, but ok. Now back to the game this week against Cincy.

But before we go there just multitude of factors .. bill looked great when Brady + scar and Josh were there . Without them, increasing age, conservative playcalling tendencies and his tendencies to depend on his failed hirelings as well as his sons , I would much rather roll the dice on somebody like frank Reich or Dan Quinn or BoB to see what we have . If we fail so be it .
Wll be really angry if we lose Mayo as well this off-season.

I am not a fairweather fan Ashley. I would definitely come in and doff my hat to bill and the team . Secretly I wish we could do it, but being a realist the pessimism in me comes to the fore.

i really want them to win. i am just aghast how they have shown up especially after the buffalo game. A team worth its salt like previous pats teams wouldve come out with fire . These guys are just going through the motions sadly. As phil perry said on his podcast- one of the players postgame asked if the jets lost. when the mindset is on zach wilson bailing them out , their focus is really elsewhere.

I kinda disagree. Pats team in the past have been know to give long yardage downs in the end. its not a new thing. its all short term memory of course because winning and brady hides a lot of those.
of course when things dont go well and you have your son on the staff its easy to pile on and he has to face but why couldnt it be mayo calling those plays?. Because his son is easy to criticize now that we hate BB ? Defense played well. we wont be in the game without them. Let's not lose focus of the offensive disaster just because his son coaches defense.
When we dont win everytime its the OC/DC or someone we hate. Dean pees was one and then he gave brady hell when he went to baltimore. He was blamed for the call in 2007 SB to leave hobbs 1 on 1 but everyone knew it came from BB. Ultimately all calls and plans go through him so it really is on him .

Mayo does the coordinating. Little Steven does the play calling. This per Mayo.

I don't believe Bengals can improve thier play off seeding. They have nothing to play for or gain? even though they beat KC, KC has # 1seed in hand. Hopefully Burrow, chase and Higgins decide to rest.

Huh? BUF is the #1 seed. CIN is currently #3 but they could go from #2 to #5. They haven't even secured a playoff spot. Nobody is resting.

You have been seeing the evidence for 14 weeks like the rest of us. Hunter Henry spoke out to SI about the offense, David Andrews spoke about the offense, Trent brown gave hesitancy about the offense when he was asked about a position switch, Myers spoke about the offense, however as I stated don't have to take my word for it there is 14 weeks of evidence.

I don't know where you're seeing this, I just haven't seen all the comments you're making. Brown isn't about the offense anyway but about a position switch. They could be running with McDaniels and he could still make the same comment

I honestly would not even want him back on the defense, allow him to stay in his role as senior advisor to football operations.

We could easily be 9-5 or worst 8-6. Every team in our division has more talent than us. I think it's obvious. You mention the cb position, we have injury issues and have to play Bryant there. I am hoping that this offseason, we have another good draft, spend some money upgrading our talent and we catch up to everybody else.

I think if we would've played McGrone we could've been 10-4.

I do kind of wonder if the team supports him or not. I would’ve guessed “yes” if it’s kind of Mac vs Patricia but some of the veteran players may not take too well to a second year player acting the way he has at times.

I get what you mean, only thing is Buffalo looks locked in.. they in my opinion are the most dangerous team in the playoffs.. I still feel like it's going to end up KC with the top seed.. Buffalo has nothing to play for in my opinion against us in week 18 except to pad thier stats,, McDermott probably won't even have them practice week 18 when they play us..

Dude, your takes suck. If BUF wins out they get the #1 seed. If they lose a game, they'll be fighting CIN for the #2 seed. If you don't think there's any difference between the #2 and #3 seed, I don't know what to tell you.

Unfortunately, the only way i see buffalo having nothing to play for is if they win the next 2 with kc dropping 1 and bills having that 1 seed wrapped up by week 18. Otherwise its hard to imagine bills losing both of the next 2 which i believe is the only way they would not go in to week 18 having at least a shot at the 1 seed

Yup, and it's unlikely KC loses to SEA, DEN or LVR.

Definitely, the mistakes are so easy to point beucase of the types of contracts these players got.. I don't blame the players for taking the money at all. However I only see a restructuring for smith and possibly, just either a trade or outright realese for Agahlor, then again due to how bad the offense was this season maybe everyone gets a pass.. and we add premiere talent!

Agholor is a FA. You can't trade or release a FA.
