Very minor, if any, weather impact tomorrow... accumulation will be after the game

As long as it's snow, it will be minor.
If it's rain or sleet, it changes things dramatically.

We should build domes.. why play football in snowy fields ... Makes zero sense when cost is not a concern ..
Hard disagree. We need to preserve these open stadiums. Hell I even wish we had real grass in Gillette still. The dome esthetic gets so bland and tiring. Every stadium will look the same.

Little bit of slush should impact Houston’s pass rushers.

The Patriots have a clear path to the Superbowl. They must turn out all the stops.

I felt this way before the nix injury, now it's even more pertinent.

People are losing their ****ing minds regarding Houston's defense.

They are very good. They are NOT historically good. They are NOT the '85 Bears.

They aren't even #1 in the League this year in points allowed. So let's slow our rolls, mediots.
That 85 Bears defense WAS that dominant and that Bears team was by far the best team that I've ever seen over one season and that includes all the Pats superbowl runs.

BUT it should be noted that part of the reason that team so dominant was they had that defense. And that defense was so dominant because it was schematically unique for that time. The next year, the Bears had an equally dominant season and got a bye, but lost the next round to Washington. After the that they didn't see the playoffs for a decade, after a combination of players getting old and team catching up with the scheme brought them back to earth after just a 2 year run.

Cold and wet snow will get inside their heads. Make them physically uncomfortable. That’s the biggest part of it.

As someone who actually saw it and a coach who understands scheme and concepts I value your opinion. My understanding is it's a pressure heavy scheme that relied on big negative plays sending lots of people from everywhere. IMO it was effective at the time because it was new, but teams today see that and more all the time. I believe 20 or so today teams would strait up beat the 85 bears just because they would go 5 wide and get the ball out in 2 secs relying on YAC. Your thoughts?

Win tomorrow and you’re in the SB.
Trap game.

Or really, trap games.

If the Pats let Nix being out distract them and look past the Texans game they’ll be watching Houston play in Denver from their armchairs.

If they get past Houston and start looking past Denver, taking a Super Bowl appearance for granted, they’ll be watching the Super Bowl from their living rooms.

Stay focused!

Disagree.

As long as Drake plays better than he did against the Chargers he’ll look like the MVP, because expectations will all be like this hot take.

If Drake can perform at his usual level he’ll far surpass those lowered expectations, and that will just burnish his standing.

I think he can do it. We will see. A lot will depend on how Josh calls the game. I expect he’ll start conservatively, establish the runs and short quick passing game, then start to mix in some more aggressive calls. But he could surprise me being aggressive early, if the pregame warmups tell him that Drake is dialed in and comfortable in the conditions. It’s going to be fun to see how things go.

HOU is an incredible defense. SEA is the historic defense. DVOA has 2025 SEA tracked as the 12th greatest defense since 1978

man. can you imagine if Maye goes through the HOU, DEN, and SEA defenses

Look no further than the NHL to see what cookie cutter arenas have done to the game. Just about every game looks the same.

Before, you had the Boston Garden, the Montreal forum, maple leaf gardens, the aud in Buffalo, Chicago Stadium, le colissee in Quebec. Different sized rinks and games had a distinct and varying look on tv depending on the venue. Now they look the same. Just one of my gripes about the modern NHL.

MLB has it right.

Drake is going to have a huge game. Drake Maye is better than the Texans defense.
