I saw that Trent Brown has sat out the last two practices.

That's a shame. Would've loved to have seen the Pats tee-off on him snap after snap. How has their backup LT looked?
Brown is their starting RT.. Per their Unofficial Depth Chart, the next man up at RT is Blake Fisher. Fisher is also their JUMBO guy.. Jarrett Kingston was used for a few snaps at Jumbo when Fisher started at LT in week 17..

Here’s the updated forecast, as of 08:27pm Thursday. Looks like perfect playoff football weather. A southern dome team might not agree…

Sunset will be about the start of Q3. Temps will be dropping throughout the game. Winds won’t be too nasty. Winds shifting from daytime WSW to WNW overnight suggest temps will drop a bit faster than just radiational cooling. Might be getting a bit nippy by the end of the fourth quarter.

Apple forecast: Just above freezing, so sounds like snow will just turn to cold mush. And chance of rain varies dramatically for some reason right during game time : Ping pongs between 40% and 0 twice.

Would be better 4-5 degrees colder. Drake seemed to sail a few throws with wet balls.

Here rain chart

Snow massively favors the Patriots. Not just cause they are a southern team, but Anything slowly down the pass rush or making it harder to cover tight windows is good for us imo.
Snow should also favor the team with the stronger run game I’d expect. I’m not familiar with Texans running backs but Rham and Hendo and perhaps Jennings seem like we have a very good group of RBs.

But I’m talking about more snow than is forecast, I think.

Don't like this matchup one bit. OL is going to get eaten alive again. Hope Drake doesn't get injured.

....because only internet fanboys are real men????

Did you make you bed this morning is mom going to yell at you again?

.
Talk about real men. These clowns ****ed with the wrong guy...

The Steelers’ defense of the 70’s with like 8 HOFers did not get this much ballwashing. Well they haven’t faced Drake Maye this year. And the Pats D is about to remind everyone 2 can play D.
The narrative all week is the Texans defense. How many times you see a narrative get blown up in the playoffs. Remember Manning coming in after putting up 41 and 38 the first 2 playoff games and the talk of the Indy offense being unstoppable only to throw 3 picks to Ty Law.

This just has a feel of the NE defense having a dominating game while Drake does enough to get us in the 20's.

The only reason we gave up 5 straight TDs is because the Refs handed Buffalo 3 of them with bogus calls and so many non-calls. Let's stop pretending that the Buffalo offense earned them.

Yep.

You can actually pinpoint multiple times in the game where they got calls and then held the flags in when there should have been calls against them

-Schooler on a KR has his pinky graze a facemask in a pile, ref sees that
-On a sack in the 2nd half Milano has a whole full palm grip on Maye's facemask on a sack, doesn't get called

-White clearly interfered with Hollins, isn't called, they get an INT
-Marcus Jones makes a great bang bang play, ball got underthrown making Shakir have to come back for it. Ref immediately has the flag. Jones comes up with the INT they somehow call it a catch for Shakir

-Davis on a 3rd down puts his hand on the back of a receiver as he's diving for a ball that was thrown wide. Called very late
-Diggs on 4th down that ended the game basically gets bear hugged, no call.

-Bills biggest return of the game, Mapu gets held by 2 guys which sprung the return
-On our biggest return, Williams hits an angle and the guy never had a chance, Mapu's hand slightly grasps the shoulder and a ref throws a flag

We got out to a 21-0 lead why? Because the refs were invisible for most of the 1st half. Then they decided to get involved in the 2nd half. People really think that Bills staff suddenly came up with adjustments that flipped that game. Nah if that game was called 50/50 we win. In fact it only needed to be 70/30 and we still would have won, but it 100/0

Yep, that's how I view it. Didn't give you anything special but didn't screw up which is all you could really ask for. Jennings is not really a special player either necessarily, but he has a little power in his legs that can come in handy when coming on in the 4th quarter to help close out a win where you really need some first downs. He probably won't get more than 4 yards most of the time, but he also will rarely get less than 2 yards, which is worth something. Stevenson and Henderson are both good players, but if they get hit at the line they tend to go down.
Ross,

Going back to last years game under Jerod rust. We were able to put up points on this Texans defense.. with a rookie Drake and the porous OL..

In your opinion is there anything we could use or take from that game to benefit in the upcoming game?
