We had traded for Dorsett because we had too many QB's on the roster and we didn't need Brissett anymore. Campbell we could probably sign to a reasonable low money deal that would cost nothing if he didn't play due to injury. He doesn't have any leverage due to his injury history.

Well in my worthless opinion.....oh yea.....Pancakes and syrup with fruit , coffee and OJ for this snowy morning,....... I would love Higgins but the assets and Money will be a non starter. Rather trade for Juedy and get his contract for two years. The Broncos have no Draft assets and Payton and BB can hammer something out. Maybe we have to trade Bourne to make the deal happen, I can see Bourne and Wilson as a better fit there.

Don't sleep on Campbell. I think the Colts resign him anyway. Campbell was finally healthy by the end of last season. His numbers sneakiily (is that a word?)were pretty similar to Myers but he has 4.31 speed......what do we need? 4.31 speed. My guess is one half of Meyers cost. He also played more games than Meyers with a duplicate crappy pass offense.

So Juedy. Campbell, Thornton, Parker and a Draft pick.....perhaps Charlie Jones Purdue (a bigger, faster Welker) maybe in the 3rd to change up our WR corp. . We do pick Purdue players.

These Deals can be affordable and do not mortgage the future. Pick #46 to the Broncos for Juedy (Higgins too much) Sign Jawann Taylor at OT (a little pricey but he is young and assending) Sign Bradberry at CB (Ramsey too much wampum). Resign Peppers and Jonathan Jones to our D backfield. Sign Drue Tranquil LB who can cover and had great numbers with the Chargers. He is a Patriot type kid and former Safety.

Now the big deal would be to get Leonard Williams from the Giants because they need to spend $45mm on Jones. This might be a slary dump and lower pick. Might pay him over Ramsey

Summary: 4 FA =Taylor the most $ top tier, Campbell, Bradberry, Tranquil......... 3 middle tier. Affordable

Two trades: Juedy and Williams.

Now pick up some Draft winners we hope. CB, OT, TE and that WR like Jones or Rice.

He plays next to Chase and Boyd which gives him single coverage all the time, he has one of the best QB’s what in the league throwing to him and has great coaches.

This is a lot like that time everyone said the Steelers have a load of WR talent, then Juju struck out on his own and everyone realized he was a possession WR who benefitted from Ben and team.

Go watch him on YouTube and see how Tee Higgings Highpoints the Football way better than glued to the turf and defender Parker. We haven't had a WR like him since Moss.

Ha, maybe they’ll sign him after all. I know he spoke highly of O’Brien on an Alabama podcast a few weeks ago, and he’s close with Mac.

Slow as molasses and non-elite 3-cone for a slot WR but if BOB feels that he is worth a look after working with him in 2021, I don’t see the downside.

I think he’s a solid possession receiver who is a tenth of a second faster than Jakobi Meyers. But we’re not talking about signing him as a free agent, we’re talking about trading for him… then paying him more than Meyer’s will get.

Thornton could become substantially better than Higgins, so could Marcus Jones.

Everyone wanted Jonnu Smith, then he joined the Pats and they sucked at passing the ball…. now it’s Jonnu’s fault the Pats suck at passing the ball.

These guys don’t play in a vacuum. The Bengals have been a very good passing team the entire time he’s been there, I’m saying he’s slightly overrated based upon results that have much or more to do with the environment around him than actual athleticism or skill.

I like the player, to get him would be too expensive and unless Mac or Zappe develop into Burrows and the Pats offense grows into the Bengals offense the results wouldn’t be the same.
