The pro day for William & Mary took place on March 23, with two players working out for representatives from four NFL teams.
CB Derek Cox (6-1 1/4, 188 pounds) got a strong look, and he’ll work out with the Raiders and Patriots next week. He had times of 4.39 and 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash, a 36 1/2-inch vertical and an 11-foot, 8-inch broad jump. He also had a 4.11-second short shuttle and a 6.80-second three-cone drill, and he did 12 reps on the bench press.
By the way, not sure if it's already been asked, has anyone got last years list at hand? See how we did in terms of players brought in for visits and those we actually drafted?
Guys, hope you don't mind, I've reproduced this list somewhere else

Morgan State University nose tackle Lonnie Harvey had his pro-day last week, the only scout to show up was a representative of the Philadelphia Eagles...
Harvey has already secured workouts/visits with the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panther and Indianapolis Colts. The New England Patriots are the latest team to inquire about Lonnie, fitting since they might be looking to add depth behind Vince Wilfork on draft weekend.

New England Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia was on hand at South Carolina’s March 25 pro day to personally work out tackle Jamon Meredith, who was among 18 players to workout indoors on FieldTurf in front of representatives from 25 NFL teams.
Meredith measured in at 6-foot-5, 304 pounds, with 34 3/4-inch arms. He kept all of his numbers from the combine, but looked very good in position drills.
I recall that the Patriots brought Jerod Mayo in to Foxboro, as well as Gholston & Rivers.
They had visits or private workouts with 14 cornerbacks, the clear focus of their pre-draft visits. They saw essentially all the top 15-20 corners, with the notable exceptions of Wheatley and Wilhite.
Solid option if we pass on the Beatty/Britton group.

Linebacker Russell Allen, who finished second all-time in career tackles at San Diego State, really boosted his stock at his recent Pro Day. With 17 NFL teams in attendance, the linebacker benched 24 reps, ran a 4.62 -second 40-time, posted a 33.5-inch vertical and a 9'10" broad jump. According to a source, Carolina head coach John Fox attended the workout, the New England Patriots showed quite a bit of interest, and Allen met privately that day with the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Falcons. The Chicago Bears conducted a private workout with him on March 27 that was attended by the team's general manager, Jerry Angelo, and Allen is also scheduled to work out for the Chargers on March 31. With experience as a long-snapper to boot, Allen has started receiving invitations for official visits in April from teams such as the Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Joe Burnett, CB, UCF
"New England Patriots threw their hats into the ring as Pats head honcho Bill Belichick took a ride down to the UCF facilities to work Burnett out earlier this afternoon. Belichick is familiar with UCF corners, as he helped mold and cultivate former Knight Asante Samuel into a two-time Pro Bowler."

Nice. I'm not sure I don't like Lawrence Sidbury better than Cody Brown as a 3-4 OLB prospect. I need to see more of him, but he showed terrific speed and agility at the combine. Jamon Meredith is another solid prospect - he doesn't have William Beatty's footwork, but he has terrific versatility and could possibly play LT, and can probably play both RT and guard. Sort of a Nick Kaczur with much more physical ability. He would be solid value in the 47-58 range.
They were saying on NFL Network's Path to the Draft on Friday that the same scouts who went to see Clint Sintim workout that day felt that Sidbury looked better.
And conspicuously missing from the workouts/visits/interviews list is -- Clint Sintim.
The Groh/Belichick connection is stronger than most seem to realize.
