This popped up on my phone, and I didn't see it on here:

If it's posted elsewhere, it's better for this to have its own thread since it's definitely relevant, and it makes it easier for anyone who might not have time to dive back in to at least easily come in here and see it.

For those who can't see the Xeet:

NFI:
CB Carlton Davis [!!!]
UDFA WR Jeremiah Webb
UDFA S Josh Minkins

PUP:
WR Mack Hollins
TE Austin Hooper
OT Vederian Lowe
LB Jahlani Tavai

A little concerning to see Davis on NFI list. Hopefully it's something minor. And why NFI?

Hollins on PUP I guess his missing OTAs was actually a sign he's recovering from something. Again hopefully it's not significant. No one will call the WR room stacked but there are a lot of guys competing for a few spots can't be falling too far behind.

Going to need Hooper, Lowe, and Tavai back quickly too.

But all in all even with these guys on since Diggs isn't on these lists you'd have to consider this to be good news.

I really wanted the Pats to draft a TE this year. It was a very deep TE class, and we only signed Hooper for 1 year. And now he won’t be ready for training camp. Not happy about that, not counting on the UDFA TEs, odds of them making the team and contributing are EXTREMELY low.

Also not thrilled about Carlton Williams on the NFI list after paying him a ton of money, saw him out on the field plenty in OTA’s, so it means the injury was very recent. Not ideal.

Lampe at FB and more 3 wide could mean less TE reps.

Even worse for that clown at SI who hung his hat on Graff’s report as the basis for not one but two baseless stories.

The biggest concern by far would be Carlton Davis on NFI. Sometimes these can be prolonged issues.

Davis being NFI is interesting. I suppose if there's something that we can gleen from the designation, is that whatever it is, it's not Football related (probably not injured). As for what Illness it it, we can only hope that it's by no means a concerning one and that he's 100% through most of Training Camp and beyond.

Not sure if it’s related but he ended last season with a broken jaw.
thanks...

we paid him a metric **** ton of money this year... it better not be an injury that lingered since week 15 of last year...

Could just be an over abundance of caution, which doesn’t bother me. He’s experienced enough to miss OTA’s and even a little bit of camp as long as he’s healthy and in shape for the regular season.

But NFI, not PUP?

What that about?
