No way Hightower gets that kind of money. That kind of money is reserved to sideline to sideline athletic LB freaks like Kuechly and Wagner. If a team spends that kind of money on Hightower, they will be disappointed, because he is not that kind of player.How will Bill keep these guys happy? Fortunately money is not the prime motivating factor for a lot of these guys
If this is the market HT will surely get 16-17M/year and I doubt patriots match that.
Hightower will have greatest value to a team that schemes its LBs to play a versatile set of roles. He is an average coverage LB and would be a waste for team that runs a 4 - 3 or Tampa 2. He would be wasted as a run thumper in less exotic versions of the 3 - 4. I see a limited market.
My guess, Tennessee makes a run at Hightower for Jamie Collins money.
