Can't wait until Oct 30. When the Pats blow out the jills. Offensively they blew their wad today and now there will be more tape on their new offense not to mention the fact that the defense played better against it in the 2nd.

Oh ya and there likely won't be an injured 3rd string rookie QB playing, it will just be the GOAT

The Patriots didn't trust Jacoby Brissett to win the game, and it showed. From the play calling to the defense. You can't play afraid, and expect to win the game.

Worked perfectly well last week. What you can't do is bank on is winning almost all the key situations in a game every time. Last week we made almost all the plays, this week almost nothing went our way. That's how it goes sometimes..

It was a specific game that will not happen again .. futile to overanalyize.
In a sense - it was a No Game. (no disrespect to Bills)

On to Cleveland .. Brady takes over in the morning.
I bet he wont be quiet ..
I was thinking something sort of similar. Like Brady is gonna come in and be mad for the rest of them.

I put this loss on the coaching staff. The players didn't execute well especially with some of those missed tackles, long 2nd and 3rd down conversions, and letting the Bills stay on schedule on 1st downs, but the coaching staff played this game a lot like the road Miami game last week. Can't really say I blame them for keeping it simple with Brissett and no backup QB but 3 passes in the first half was ridiculous. Once they opened it up to start the half it looked like what they should've been doing the whole time. Ghost is in a slump too and he needs to snap out of it stat

One thing, Brady is coming back like Julius Ceasar instead of into some cooked up silly QB controversy. The team needs the kind of typical leadership Brady brings right now. They will start to destroy people.

If the injury didn't prevent him from having sufficient arm velocity like JG's did then yes, otherwise no.
I agree. Brady has taken a lot of hits over the years and the fans + media find out about the injuries years later. He is one tough SOB, I was just wondering if Jimmy G. has the same toughness.

I was surprised that people were so confident going into this week with a rookie and hurt garapollo. I had a feeling they were going to drop this game if Brisset played. Not surprised, at least TB is coming back this week.

Its one game. Only thing that annoys me slightly is now we're a game behind Denver if they beat Tampa Bay.

Bennett had a good game. Can't wait for him and Gronk to light it up.
If you're waiting for Gronk to light it up, I hope you're not waiting under water without a snorkel. He's not close to being himself. He can block but he can't run.

The second half made the first half all the more puzzling to me. Apparently JB was healthy enough to be asked to try to pass, etc. in the second half, so why not try it in the first half?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Like I said, his act is stale, win or not.

Yeah, the Pats D held the Bills much better in the second half after adjustments. Bills should be doing more of the same in the next game, while Pats will be upgrading from an injured Brissett to the GOAT.

I do think the defense played poorly, in many cases the Bills just shot themselves in the foot when they had other chances. Regardless the lack of tackling, ability to rush the passer, ability to cover WR's in both this game and the Miami game does not make me feel great about them. But IM also confident that they will get better, Hightower started playing better as the game went on so he will get better, having Niko back will help. Im not too down on Ryan, BB apparently likes this guy so who am I to question it. But he has to play better.

On the other hand I never believed that if the Pats got down with JB as QB would they be able to get back, it was, at least for me, a situation where they had to always lead the game to win.

Based on the the fact that the Pats got down early I was not surprised by the result. JB and maybe due to injury couldn't throw a laser, lofted the ball when he shouldn't and generally was pretty inaccurate...he's a rookie and thats what most rookies do.
