Don't disagree at all. I'm just more on the side that the Pats switched up scheme and stepped up execution on the field more than Bortles declined precipitously in play.
Of course it is. Bortles is coming out thinking he has it and the patriots change it up and he is baffled.

Of that low percentage last quarter how much was throws being missed (wide, high whatever) versus Pats defenders PBUs? If it's the former...then you're correct and Bortles wasn't as accurate. If the latter - better play (calling and execution) by the good guys.

Either way we're arguing when we probably should be just celebrating.
It’s defense. IF you want to think suddenly he made bad throws look at how the defense made him make throws he wasn’t comfortable with or was rushed on. It happens all the time when we are in a close game. Almost every time.

Don’t you feel stupid now? You called game over before the end of the first half in game thread.....Lol....gotta hang in there man.....

I’m blown away. No matter how many times I see a come back like this, I never get used to it or expect it. I get down and crazy but damn

I didn't see anything apologetic there, and he obviously targeted Gronk in an area that he wasn't supposed to.

In other words, it really was a dirty play. And they did the same thing against Kelce. The league should have a chat with that team's coaches.

Kelce? That was the Titans. Jaguars didn't play KC this year.

Barry said he felt bad and that he hoped that Gronk was okay. He then elaborated on what he was trying to accomplish: dislodge the ball. He mentioned that he tried not to hit his knees (which I appreciate, and I'm sure Gronk does too). I don't think it was a malicious play.

Yeah, i thought that it wasn't a fumble, he had it pinned to his hip until he hit the ground.
It was definitely a fumble imo. If a receiver has to survive the ground, a fumble recovery has to too, and Lewis did not.

Just like the gronk hit was non disputable despite what that had player said

What a roller coaster!

1.) I kept my patriots jersey on all game and still have it on now!

2.) very proud that while in the depths of depression at the start of the 4th quarter and pats haters blowing up my phone, I resisted the urge to post my frustrations in the game day thread!!!!

3.) we have one more game this season to win!! The job is not yet quite conplete! Go pats!!!

you know you can't wash the jersey, right?

Different rules

I don’t know, he still had some very accurate passes at the end - even the one Gilmore broke up was right on the money. They were pressuring him hard too.

That's the difference. I was in a heavily Jags rooting house and I told them on the last two Jag drives that this is what separates winners from losers. And Bortles lost both times.

Who here had Brady - Foles 2018 ?
I predicted this beginning of the playoffs purely based on the fact that it was the Eagles we faced the last time we were going for the Repeat.
