Post Game Thread Texans @ Pats....Onto the AFC Championship Game

Edelman was fantastic. I knew the pats had to go back to him in the second half if they were going to win.
18 catches in the next 2 games and he will be #2 all-time in playoff receptions. Pretty rarified air.

There's nothing I hate more than bad football, or bad mistakes, like the ones we had. The Texans scored all 16 of their points off our mistakes. Thankfully we had our 12th man. **** Assweiler! That dude just sucks! Horrible!

Now Imagine if the Texans had a competent QB...

No question. With a competent QB, that Texans team could be a strong threat in the conference, for sure!

EDIT: And like someone mentioned in a another thread, a stronger Texans team means the Colts are in danger of being left out of the playoffs!!!

This team can not run the ball in the playoffs against non colts teams. It's been a consistent pattern for years now.

Definitely true..... this is an observation worthy of its own thread

The O-line wasn't doing our RBs any favors either

You know in 2014 we didn't really play well in that first game against Baltimore either and everybody thought differently of us after that game too.

What is a deep pass? I did not see an INT on what I would consider a deep pass.
The 2nd INT to Andre Hal on the play action was a deep pass. Ball traveled about 20 yards or so.

But the offense gelled by the end of that game. It never did last night. But the Texans' secondary was light years better than the Ravens'.

Yea its actually funny if your behind in the thread so you know what's going to happen, talk about a roller coaster of emotions from some fans. I'm thinking oh their going to feel silly for that comment. lol oh yea there was lots of ,guarantees, i read that since i was behind i already knew didn't come true. lol
One time (I had a couple beers this day) I had rewound a couple plays and then forgot that I was "behind" on the TV substantially in fact.. but was still in the game thread. it got confusing.. I was getting drunk though. LOL

I know, my point being that it takes awhile to get back into playoff speed against playoff teams.

Maybe after it was tipped.
Yeah that helped too but Brady was also in Shotgun which accredited about 5-7 extra yards to the distance in which the ball traveled.

I wonder if there will be a post game lockeroom celebration, even if they do it I expect it to be an awkward one

I think I'm still in shock we won by 18, it just didn't feel like it, but still happy cause a win is a win
