Dude? The guy trolled me, while complaining about trolls.

You complain about trolls, but your post to me WAS trolling, no?
Your trolling now.

I've never started any problems with you.

But,, I don't stand down.

You don't like my opinions. OK, cool.

Whatever, I've taken this too far already.
Merry X mass to you and everyone here.
No hard feelings, Really

I suggest you learn what "trolling" really is. What @robertweathers said to you wasn't trolling. He was stating his opinion on your posts..

Butler is still giving up big plays and Gilmore has drawn two consecutive receivers that he struggled against. We need more out of our top two corners. This kind of play will not cut it if we play the Steelers again. Also I may not be paying enough attention but where is Jonathan Jones? I haven't heard his name if he's even been on the field much. Is he injured? Curious that he isn't out there because he has been more consistently good than our top two corners throughout the season.

With Rowe back, Jones is the #4 CB. That also makes him the #7/#8 DB so he's not seeing as much playing time with the regular defense. The Pats have been playing Jordan Richards more against TEs/RBs on 3rd downs as well. Personally, I think that Jones is a better slot corner than Rowe, but I believe the Pats are using Rowe against taller receivers who are lining up in the slot.

I agree with you that both Gilmore and Butler need to step up. I was very surprised that Deonte Thompson schooled Butler so badly. These last couple of games have probably cost Butler a few million a year. He's not a bonafide #1. He's a heady #2 who has some obvious flaws..

We need to be healthy and I'm feeling pretty good. We should absolutely beat the Steelers at home. I'm not worried about Jacksonville after watching today. The 49ers played by far their best game of the season but Jacksonville played their own role in that debacle. Bortles sucks and that defense is not as great as advertised.

I think that we get Hogan, KVN, and Branch back next week. Waddle being 100% would be nice also as I'm still not sold on Fleming.

Any updates on Chung? He went out for some plays and was still limping late in the fourth quarter.

Troll : make a deliberate offensive or provocative online post with the aim of "upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them".

I suggest you follow the whole series of discussion before making judgement on me. Starting with post#188 of the post GD thread
Just saying.

I never say anything to elicit him in my original post.
He made assumptions based on how I enjoy football "in my home". NOT HERE!!

Some poster -- sorry forget who it exactly was -- nailed it with Gill and Lewis, saying Gill always going to be some relief with a handful of carries while Lewis would carry the heavy/heavier load (Lewis with 9 more carries than his previous 2017 high). I thought for sure Gill would be given a workload but he was just relief. Happy Gill made good with the opps he got (he had a one yard loss that was not his fault -- massive penetration by Buff defender) including a nice pass catch and YAC. Did Gill blow a blocking assignment that put him in the dog house or does MP/BB just think that little of him and/or think Lewis is so godlike they'll not put a ceiling on his touches? I did like seeing Bolden getting a few carries. Guy has been a Patriot type Patriots for some years now.

Take it for what it's worth. Belichick stated that Gillislee did nothing wrong. The only reason that he was not dressed was because Burkhead, Lewis and White bring just a bit more. We're seeing Lewis become a 3-down back. Burkhead showed he can be a 4-down back (since he plays on the line on punts). And White is the Receiving Specialist.

I was surprised that Gillislee wasn't getting time on Special Teams with Ebner and King out because he played them in Miami and Buffalo.

I don't think that Gillislee was in the dog house because he earned the Practice Player of the Week title a couple times during those 6 games.

Clearly you're the one who needs to follow the whole series of discussion before responding because if you had, you'd know I had responded to both Deus' stupidity and others on the topic. So, I'm clearly following the whole series of discussion.

Next, YOU'RE the one who made the asinine statement that @robertweathers was trolling you. He was doing no such thing. And no, he didn't make any assumptions based on how you enjoyed football "in your home".

The only "judgement" I made about you was from your posts that clearly show that you do not understand what trolling is despite your posting the definition of it.

My concern is the number of edge crack-toss plays that Buffalo pulled on us with success. We still can't handle it on the edge and if the Jets (as well as the playoff teams) are smart, they'll be running a heavy dose of that on us.

How about this. I will continue to say whatever I see fit "within the acceptable parameters of the rules" and you and Roberts' can either pass by my posts (Like I do when I see a stupid post). Or just use your ignore option.

Because you guys seem to think it's your way or the highway.

I've always been a good poster, and if I'm not allowed, by the staff, to post like I do, I have no business being on a board as good as this one.

Some of you posters think we need to follow your rules. We don't.
We follow Ians and the Mods rules.
Until I'm told differently by them, deal with it.

Merry Xmas:)

Ok? Gotcha. So your clueless them. Understood.

Not really concerned about the Jets because there we can essentially sell out against the run and let Petty or Hackenberg throw the game to us. They will hit a few passes, people will go insane about it but in the end there will be at least 2 turnovers that will guarantee another 2 score victory.

What will happen in the playoffs ? Depends on the group of players that get healthy until then. Either way setting the edge is a consistent issue for this team that needs to be addressed one way or the other.
