I won’t lie, I don’t love our chances if it comes to a matchup at Arrowhead. We lost 5(!!!) road games this season, against (much) worse teams than the Chiefs. Say about them what you want, but they’re really explosive. They torched our defense at Gillette, so what makes you confident that they won’t do the same - and worse - in their own stadium?

I do think though that we can beat anybody at home. No one wants to go to Gillette, that still holds true. But I unfortunately don’t trust our Pats on the road. Hoping they prove me wrong of course, but I wouldn’t expect much going into Arrowhead.

That's reasonable. We did beat the Bears though. That one stands out.

1 explanation could be that NE faced several teams that either view this game as their Super Bowl (Dolphins; lost 3 straight after that game, Steelers, Jaguars) or we faced ex coaches (Titans, Lions).

We still should have won some of those games but the struggles could be explained that way. I don't think such thing would exist with the Chiefs.

True, and we could’ve won at Miami and at Pittsburgh, too. Only the Jacksonville, Detroit and Tennessee games were truly awful.

Something feels a little off about this team, though. I can’t pinpoint it exactly, but usually I feel much more comfortable going into the playoffs than this year. But our defense combined with Tom being hurt and Gronk being a shadow of his former self just worries me. The Gordon story certainly did not help either...

Doesn’t matter though. It’s one game at a time and we’re still the goddamn Patriots. No one wants to play here, and no one will be ecstatic about facing us in a win-or-go-home game. Let’s do this!!!
