Pop Douglas and the AVP Offense

It's interesting to see just how big Drake Maye is walking between his two fellow rookies who are both 6'1" 205 pounds. I saw Drake in person at Carolina a few times and he looks bigger here than he did last year. He's a good QB, runs the ball well (although sometimes too much) and can throw on the run. Drake Maye was a monster his sophomore year when he was surrounded with loads of talent.
Thanks for sharing. That's great stuff! Yeah I've heard his closer to 6"6 than his 6"5 height list. I felt something special about Drake when I saw him talk.. and then the hard knocks episode how dabol a QB savant.. was putting him through the ringer.. I believe not only will he be a better QB but also a better personality fit here than Mac was. Call me crazy.. but I've felt for a while now he's going to be starting week 1..

I keep reading this thread title as "AVP and the Pop-Warner offense". I hope I am wrong...

If we have an 16th rated Offense and we are favorites to be in the playoffs every year.
Bingo!! Offense particularly the cam season and the last 2 seasons are what hampered us. Had We'd been 16th in anything offensively last season we win 8 games. In 2021 we were in the top 10 in all the offensive categories.
