I'd like to think I'd support BB and the rest of the guys. However, I'm thinking...

I can't remember the last Superbowl that I watched, when the Pats were not in it.

It isn't that hard to do.

Not for me. After having a hard time digesting a particularly tough playoff loss (such as the 2006 season), I'll admit that the thought of 'not watching' the Super Bowl has crossed my mind. As the days get closer though I realize I just CAN'T do it. Despite any background politics or team disappointments, football fans watch football. It's what we do. (especially when it's the last game of the year)

I'm watching the Patriots and Jimmy Garrapolo beat the Arizona Cardinals.

Run the table on the first four as the world's greatest FU to Roger Goodell and Co.

Ideal situation is Pats go 4-0 or 3-1 with JG at QB. Brady returns a very angry man and the Pats go 11-1 the rest of the way. Brady, with less wear and tear on his body thanks to the four game vacation, enters the playoffs in good health and the Pats, with HFA, cruise to the SB, where they win and collect their fifth Lombardi. Cannot wait for them to get the trophy from Goodell.

I enjoy watching the Patriots and I won't let the crooks of the NFL take that joy away from me.

I will do everything I can, however, so that those crooks profit as little from me as possible, but I will watch, maybe on a pirated stream so nobody can count me as a viewer.

But no more NFL Sunday ticket subscription, no more NFL apparel purchases, no more in-stadium experiences either.
No matter how hard I try to not let them, NFL is, in fact, ruining the game for me. It's not just the Brady thing.
