That's a huge insult to the efficient football Prescott has played. At worst, he's peak Alex Smith. We haven't seen good Romo in 2 years. At this point, I'd have to call Prescott the safer option if you don't want to blow the division.

I think I'd wait to see how Prescott bounces back first, but he's now had 3 games in a row below 200 yds.

If they're going to consider a switch, probably better to do it now so he can knock the rust off for a game or two heading into the postseason.

While true, some of that is overstated, though. For example, look at Romo's stats in the month of December. He definitely won't be remembered for being "clutch," but he's not as bad as some suggest, either.
