I think last year's Eagles team had more depth on the D-line than this year's Rams team. The Eagles had Curry, Cox, Barnett, Long, Jernigan, and Graham. This year's Ram's d-line has Donald, but the depth is nowhere near as good as last year's Eagles.

If you need a piece of information to latch onto to call you down...

Rams lost @ Chicago 15-6
Patriots won @Chicago 38-31

I don’t think you can say much about the Rams from that game. It was very cold in Chicago that day, I believe.

Yeah, but maybe it says a little about a QB facing adversity. Rams lost to 3 playoff teams.
Patriots lost to bad/average teams. Rams had pedal to metal all year, Pats had an uncharacteristic lazy regular season and turned it up big when needed.
I think Pats have more juice to squeeze when thirsty.

Confident. Last years pats could not stop this run and this version can't either unless they continue the press man coverage with one safety. If they play the same defensive game plan as they did the chargers and kc they should make it a long day for goff.

I think the Rams struggle stopping the run. Trent brown is going to swallow Fowler. Barron is really a safety.. I think they wear down as they're light. Can't sleep on Su and Donald.. hit them often and blind side double them

I'm so confident that I cashed in all of my 401Ks and placed a 1.5 million dollar bet on the Pats straight up. I was hammered when I did it...hope I didn't mess it up.

Very confident, but don't think it'll be easy.

I really am very confident. First, there appears to be none of the BS from last year. Second, this is the first SB with Edelman and Gronk on the field since 2014 and the Rams D is not the Seattle D. The last 3rd and 10 vs KC was a perfect illustration. The safety stepped down to double Edelman and Gronk ran the slant to the vacated spot. Third, the defense is not just hoping to get 3rd down stops. Last year vs the Jags it seemed like stops were fortunate - and we did not get them in the SB. At the end of the day, the Rams are a very good team, but not really special. And I think it will take a special team to beat the Pats tomorrow. It has not happened before, but I say 2 scores will be the margin.

Over the last couple of days I have seen quite a few talking heads on NFL network picking the Rams. I'm alright with that, I didn't want to see everyone picking the Patriots otherwise the Rams would come into the game with an even bigger chip on their shoulder and we know how that worked out for the upstart 01 Pats !

How did each team do vs Detroit?

I think the team will do fine today.
The D is playing better now than last year, the OL is much better.
