If you don’t go out and execute, then that’s what happens. You know, [if] you go out and do the things the coaches ask you to do, play-by-play, every play, you’ll see a positive output. If you don’t go out and execute every play — and another thing, eliminate negative plays — that’s another thing that kind of sets your offense back as a whole.”

I am VERY concerned. The infighting on the board has been terrible since that game.

Furthur reflection: I'm concerned that BB has yet to fix the strong pressure up the middle disripting his QB that we first saw at the end of 2007 and a few DCs with the right talent mix have continued to exploit. Drafting a successor to Koppen next April doesn't help this year. I only hope that there's a Joe Andruzzi type castoff reclamation project this Saturday that BB can put at RG this season.

The Waters signing I believe was the not-insignificant result of watching how poorly
the RG position played v. the Loins. I had hoped that Bill would sign Gurode, too.
