Polk pick keeps looking worse.

It’s like they did no work on this kid at all.
who was the poster here who had Polk as the top receiver in the draft?
They are church mouse quiet.
“Allstate” had to be the best receiver in the draft - after all he’s got the “best hands in the league”!

Remember those who told us it was a good thing Wolf didn’t reach for an offensive tackle in the second… when he clearly reached for a WR. That was smart.

I am giving Polk next year before I write him off. Get his a real WR coach not Troy Brown's assistant (Brown was a pretty crappy WR coach) and hopefully a better OC.

Yeah... this is going down bust road. However I'm not entirely ready to shut the door on him yet.. but by next season if he's still not producing just trade him and not waste a roster spot.

You can’t ruin a guy that never had NFL talent to start with.
This! I do not watch college football and so had no clue who he was. I watched his highlights after the pick and I was on here screaming he was a bad pick.

He had no ability to seperate in college. All his catches were basically contested. A guy who cannot seperate in college, against mostly civilians, has no hope against NFL talent.

Weirdly, no one brings up that the best DT in college football that year was still on the board...
We assumed Barmore would be back healthy and that Mayo actually knew how to scheme and coach… both were wrong.

Offensive tackle was a desperate need, but anything would have been better than a busted pick in Polk.

I think they should be force feeding Polk and Baker as many passes as possible. I don’t care if they catch 10 out of 30 attempts. We want a higher draft pick and maybe we can learn more good or bad if they can play. I’d rather see Polk snap out of his mental issues now then work on it next season: force feed them all game.

Harry - the original fire hydrant.
Polk - the fire hydrant part 2!
McMillan - the fire hydrant part 3!
Bad post. McMillan on a different level in college than those two by a landslide

So what has Jakobi done for the Raiders? His numbers the last two years are no better than his 2021 numbers for the Patriots. And his Raiders team currently has the same number of wins as the Patriots - a whole 3. The Raiders are paying him an average of $11 Million/year for this, with a cap number ($9,477,333) that is more than $6 Million higher than the highest paid WR on the Patriots (Bourne at $3,250,000).

Jakobi was not the answer.
Context matters. With Maye, jakobi would be having 1000+ yard season .

And Douglas and Henry and hooper would be having a field day .

Exactly my take when I saw film of him. Then during OTAs I saw his lack of athleticism juxtaposed against Juju, who coming off injury, looked much more sudden and quick. Polk looked lead-footed. It was so obvious. I knew he was a bust right then. Giving him more time — as the Ivans here demand — is a waste of time and money. He’s not getting more athletic given time. He’s a bust. Fire Wolf.
