You lied when you said the I said the line was good, you lied again when you said I said PFF said the line was good before the Jets game.
I specifically said the line was in trouble with 2 rookies and Jets would win easily, so you continue to lie
“I was going to put this in the Post game Thread but after doing the review it stood out that the comments being made about the porous offensive line and Jacoby running for his life it seems those comments, after tape review, were not true. - KCSVEN

Sure… you didn’t say this ^

That's 100% accurate! Has absolutely nothing to do with the line during the Jets game which is what you keep talking about when I posted exactly the opposite about the line going into the Jets game.

You lied or just have no ability to comprehend the written word.
You got caught, you can't help yourself, you lost, get over it I'm done responding to you, you have no credibility.

I said you told us the line wasn’t the problem before the Jests game… your reading comprehension is terrible.

You were wrong, this line is crapolla and it was against Seattle.

Juicy vlog going on ^ there.

Movie theatre popcorn is usually over-salted and not always the freshest, nothing better than Whirly Pop on the stovetop, using good olive oil for the oil, add you own salt and butter...mmmmmmm.

I think I'm going to get one.

I guess it's not surprising the people who were quick to judge the second round tackles weeks ago ignoring this thread 6 weeks in.

Polk was terrible yesterday, dropping an easy third down pass that would have extended a drive and that hit him dead in the hands at chest height. He entered yesterdays game with the most targets on the season, he has caught 43% of his targets... horrible.

So while these second round tackles have had their growing pains, so has Polk, he looks more like a 4th rounder and the Pats continue to roll him out there and force him into the starting lineup. Can he improve? Possibly... but stop pretending Polk was worthy of a second round grade, so far he hasn't been... and this team could use a tackle right now a lot more than another redundant WR.

No idea what this was from Polk yesterday. Jogging on the drag and ends up getting Maye hit while he waits for Polk to come open underneath. Polk is wildly inconsistent and is really going to have to step it up with a rookie QB out there now.

We are still just six games into his career. He had Jacoby Brissett throwing to him the first five. We cannot make a judgement on the guy yet.

Look at Nico Collins. Even after going to IR, he is the league leading WR in terms of yards. He had just under 1300 yards and 8 TDs last year. But he was awful his first two season. Under 500 yards in each and a combined 3 TDs over those two years.

Not every WR blossoms overnight. Polk hasn't looked good especially yesterday, but he could still emerge as a very good to great WR. Way too early to write him off.

I'd like to think the skill is there and Polk is just having some rookie moments but obviously a rough couple of weeks for him.

I wanted to trade up for a Tackle but let's not write off Polk yet.

They have other WR’s, I don’t understand how Polk earned maximum snaps beyond his second round draft pedigree. Play the vets instead.

Seems like the main reason he is out there right now.

I don't care about any "redundancies" Polk has in the WR room. Him and Douglas are the only guys in that position group I feel confident will be here next year. I also don't really care if OT is a bigger need right now. A rookie 2nd rounder wouldn't solve things immediately anyway, as shown by the growing pains those guys are dealing with.

What I do care about is that Polk doesn't look like a good player. We're one of the worst teams in the NFL. Our roster sucks everywhere. At this stage, all that was/is important to me is just getting good players. I don't care what position they play. I don't think they're in position to take a player they like less because of team need. If they liked Polk more than the OTs, I support them taking him. Right now, it seems like thinking Polk was good is a misevaluation.

It's only 6 games and he could obviously turn it around, but there don't seem to be many signs. He doesn't have amazing physical tools that you can see. He doesn't seem to be some super heady player right now. His profile is one that indicates that for him to be successful would be as more of a reliable, crafty player and he's shown to be neither so far.

Why doesn’t this apply to the 2nd round offensive tackles playing a much tougher position that were skewered here earlier?

Seems like the main reason he is out there right now.
Osborn and Thornton were starting early this season. They couldn’t pass earlier and certainly couldn’t pass deep, the dynamic has changed. Play them now.
