Honestly ,, maybe its not only the fault of the Off line,,,just sick of always losing in Miami ,,,they have our number even with a new Rookie HC ,,,we started so brightly and inside FG range,,,was hoping just to get the first points on the board,,however from that moment we didn't look comfortable. Calling for the great Dante Scarnacchia was just saying how much we miss him . I am not sure this great Organisation have the right Coaches with BB. Sadly to say.

I could care less what YOU went through in the game day thread, Tune. Look at where the Safety lined up. He's OUTISDE the DE who is lined up on Henry's Outside shoulder. There is no way Brown is getting out there to pick that up. It's not happening. The only way that Brown MIGHT be able to get BACK into position is if Henry CHIPS the safety to give Brown the time to slide back. As others have stated, for that to happen MAC JONES has to notice it and alter the protection.

Did you even READ the tweet that they were referring to? Fauria was quoting Ben F'in VOLIN. It was VOLIN claiming it was a Communication problem on the part of Brown. WTF would VOLIN know about it? Volin 8yr old's playing PeeWee Football know more about the game than Volin. There have been TROLLS on this board who have known more about football than Volin. You've forgotten more about Football than Volin has ever known.

From Texas you likely don't get the immediate postgame coverage we do up here, but it wasn't just Volin pointing out the communication mixup for which Brown allegedly was responsible. Matt Cassel addressed it moments after the game on NBCSB Postgame Live. What bears further explanation is exactly what adjustments the right call would've allowed for involving players other than Brown. I'll be interested to hear what Greg Bedard says about it tomorrow. You might want to tune in for that on your computer, 98.5 FM at 2 p.m. EST Tuesday.

First round pick getting benched lol…

Stop this nonsense. You're trying to rationalize what you saw on TV vs. what we DON'T KNOW in how sight adjustments work re. pre-snap assignments. You're also telling me Archuleta/Cassel/Fauria are wrong and that Brown had no reason to dodge questions postgame. Check the provided links then give it a rest.
Getting blamed for something that wasn’t his fault is a great reason to not talk to those placing that inappropriate blame.

It was only for eight snaps. Likely a “welcome to the NFL, calm your nerves you’ll be fine” move.

I doubt it was a matter of reporters leveling blame at him as much as simply asking what happened why from his perspective.

How about we just get a dedicated OL coach instead of using an over tasked and untitled OC in that role. Seems pretty straight forward.
Lombardi swore up and down Judge would be the OC because you can't do OL and play calling at the same time. I don't see how you can just take on OL as additional duty.

You're wrong, we went through this in the game-day thread. Henry was releasing into a pass route regardless, it was up to the OL to adjust accordingly on what Miami was showing and they blew it. Multiple postgame analyses have pointed this out, including from Matt Cassel and Christian Fauria. Also pointed out in-game by the broadcast analyst Adam Archuleta.

I knew I should have worried when I read this...

First round pick getting benched lol…

An on the field temp of 100+ may have worn him down a bit, Strange (49 of 57 O snaps) and Wynn (47 of 57 O snaps)both took some time off the field. Ferentz was on the field at left guard during the fumble-six...

Cole Popovich.

Hopefully this helps. Also @DaBruinz :

Ted f'in Johson? The guy who STILL hated BB.. SMH..

I couldn't give a flying f' about the post game coverage. There is no f'in way ANY OT is kicking out 7 yards at the snap to pick up a blitzing safety. You just can't handle the fact that Henry f'ed up and should have chipped the safety before running his route.

Why is it that you hold in the highest esteem the guys who regularly crap on the Pats?

For some context, he was pick #29, and he played 49 of 57 offensive snaps in his first game in the NFL. A bit early to be cranking up the LOLs, in my opinion.
Gotta get them while you can!

Is it really that hard for you guys to admit being wrong? It's OK to be wrong occasionally. Whatever you think about Ted Johnson, what he diagrammed and demonstrated is the same take shared by Matt Cassel, Christian Fauria, Adam Archuleta, Greg Bedard and others. You going to shoot those messengers too? YOU might want to blame Henry even though that wasn't his assignment. But keep watching the games on TV assuming you've got it all figured out because what you see is so "obvious."

These threads are hilarious. The end man on scrimmage slanted down. That’s there to draw the tackle. Which means that keeping the tackle inside was key to getting the free run at the quarterback. Obviously it is impossible to know the offensive assignment. However, it’s pretty simple to logically deduce that if the defensive play design was to keep the tackle from kicking out to the safety there might be a slight clue to who was responsible for the pickup.

Mac holds the ball too long.
He had the second shortest average time (from snap to throw) of all 32 QBs in week 1.

In other words, he held the ball less than all but one player.

We can quibble as to whether it was by design or by necessity, but facts are facts

Wow, better than Brady and Mahomes.

Gemo Smith was more decisive throwing last night.

Here's an idea: let's compare things that bear no basis for comparison. That's assuming you're being serious here, which makes it all the more embarrassing.
