Elo rating, sounds stupid. Let me just put an arbitrary number on something...lolo_O

Fun chart. Why aren't weeks 16 and 17 available? Or am I missing something?

Do you know what elo is?

Man "Don't Bring Me Down".....

Damn it Tony beat me to it...I should have looked down a couple of more posts before posting....o_O

I'm not going to base the prediction on some system invented by some quack!
Nate Silver has looked like a genius at times (correctly predicting the exact number of wins for the Orioles several seasons ago), and a total dunce at times (2016 presidential election).

In this case, I think I prefer the ESPN playoff predictor.

How did he look like a dunce in 2016 ?

Just because the majority of people is inherently incapable of understanding probabilities ? People see 70-80% and seem to think that this is like a guarantee that some event will occur when in reality there is still a 1 in 4 chance it will not given the data.

If percentages like that would be guarantees everyone would be rich betting on them.

I think it has the JETE prediction pretty accurate :D:D;)
