Fox only gets 1 game in the divisional round? I thought they get the same # games as CBS. just an odd observation

I think they started alternating since last season. NBC got one of CBS' games last season I believe.

NBC always had 2 games, but they were both the Saturday Wild Card games. Now they gave NBC 1 WC and 1 divisional, and gave ESPN a WC game. Last year it came from NFC, this year from AFC. As such, last year Fox got shorted 1 game and this year CBS is.

Why is eveybody counting out the Texans Andy Reed is the Marty Schottenheimer of coaches in the Playoffs. Pittsburgh could win in Cincinnati and and if the Texans win that game we have cake walk to Championship Game.

Actually it is true. Except last CBS lost the divisional game last year. ESPN gained one of NBC wild card games and got a divisional game instead.

Would have loved for an 8:30PM game on Saturday, but I'll take a 4:25PM Saturday game over a Sunday any day of the week! Can sit back and have a few cold ones on a Saturday without having to wake up for work the next day

Or you can look at it they get extra day of rest and keep their players on normal schedule for divisional round and rest of playoffs of they advance.

Every year people overestimate the WC round winners. By definition, 4 teams will win this weekend by beating other playoff caliber teams, and advance to the next round. Generally speaking, when a team beats a playoff caliber opponent, they often (not always, but often) look good doing so and they get a nice bandwagon up and running. Then they often get their butts handed to them the following week.

In all honesty, none of our potential divisional-round opponents frighten me all that much. I know on any given Sunday (or Saturday in this case) but I am not exactly intimidated by any of the potential matchups.

If this means no Collingsworth I am ecstatic. He RUINS the game for me. Id rather watch Red Sox-Yankees with an obnoxious NY fan then listen to Collingsworth call the Pats games.
