Playoff bye week .. PRACTICE news

Mitchell, Jones, Brady still out.

Though you never want to take a playoff game lightly and i am sure they will not they can afford to sit borderline guys vs the likes of Houston/Miami/Oakland.

As long as they have most of their top guys and play well they will win that game. Maybe give Mitchell another week if he needs it. The main key is just try to get out healthy from the divisional round.

Not too many borderline guys except for Amendola and Mitchell. Jones is always a healthy scratch, as we should know this by now.

Lol, the guy who Bb sat due to inconsistency last two Weeks?

It's either a way to give some foncodenxe, or more likely Malcom responded very well to the benching

BB a hell of a leader, wonder how'd he do as a general, CEO, and president
foncodenxe?

Nice to see #14 another week of Practice should do wonders.

I'm starting to morph into a chicken little with Malcolm Mitchell missing practices....I don't like it.

Same knee he banged up at Georgia

Intetesting comment from a knowledgeable source. Hopefully Mitchell returns next week.

Not sure I agree with Matt here.

Love Mitchell but from a matchup perspective I can't put him ahead of Floyd. Floyd is a physical beast.

Knowing the O and being on the same page as Tom no question.

Mitchell still have another week to heal it's not like we are talking about Aaron Dropson here.

Starting to feel similarly but also conflicted. Mitchell has shown fairly significant progression throughout the year and I think he has become a reliable and trustworthy target for Brady.

Then again I want to see more of Michael Floyd. When he is on I think he is one of our top two receivers talent wise. I want him on the field, but also guys like Hogan/Mitchell/Amendola have proven their value, have Brady's trust and been here longer.

We shall see how snaps are distributed but Id like to have Floyd significant involved.

While I understand how easily impressed people are with Floyd's physical skills, I think many are underestimating Mitchell quite a bit, and forgetting one of Bill's mantras: Dependability is more important than ability (see "Collins"). Once Mitchell returns to health, I expect him in the line-up. If he is, after JE11, Hogan, Mitchell and Amendola, there are not a lot of snaps left to justify a roster spot for Floyd (assuming no STs).

After thinking about it, I think I know what Chatham meant.

I have no doubt that he would agree Floyd is the more physically gifted player.

I think he meant in this offense- from a matchup standpoint Mitchell can line up anywhere and Josh can exploit a SS or CB4 with him and run a go route or quick route based on what Tom sees where Floyd doesn't have that level of understanding of the offense yet.

Every player in that situation would do well to follow the Jabal Sheard example.

#93 to me is a TRUE leader who strongly, silently and with great professionalism wrote the template. Talk about a role model. #90 just perfectly illustrated how #93 is a role model of the highest type.
