I LOVE this draft if the Pats can come away with this haul I'd be estatic.

I hate the way your UK draft played out I rather move up or down if it played out that way ( did you consider trading up for the falling #20 Spliller, #17 Bulaga, #16 Morgan or even #14 Haden ) ?

I was disappointed with some of the reaches from my fellow GM's, but I think trading down provided better value as I've still managed to pick up some top quality. As for trading up - not a consideration, I feel we need 5 picks in the first the rounds to really go some way to filling our holes. Had Suh fallen, I'd have considered it, but he's about the only player I would have traded up for.

I love the trades though if we can wind up with 22,44, 63, 65, 78 & 94 I'd be happy. Alot of good players are still on the board in your draft. ( Jason Worilds, Dennis Pitta, Ben Tate, Mike Johnson, Dexter McCluster, even Carrington is still on the board! )

I hope we can get at least 2 3rd round picks through trades, there should be alot of good prospects in the 3rd round still available.

Carrington went to the Jets at #60.

Dwyer is still there though, as is Graham, Pitta, Moeaki, Jerry.....

I'm leaning towards three really. Dwyer, Matt Tennant, and Marshall Newhouse.

Yeah, I think that's going to be the pick.

Graham's still on the board, but he won't be there most likely (although I can dream) seeing as the Broncos, Bengals, Browns, Chiefs and Vikes all have a pick before I'm back on the clock.

I haven't really studied the TEs in this years draft, but I'll give you my 2 glorious British pence anyway.

Draft on need. What do we need? I think we need a TE who can block, and who is durable. He needs to be able to block linebackers coming off the edge and to have the agility to reach blitzing corners. Good footwork is important.

Pass-catching is an interesting variable. Good hands are important, as is good route-running. Ben Watson proved that athletic ability isn't the be all and end all of a Patriots TE.

Our new TE needs to be able to start soon in 2010. They don't have to be able to both block and catch, but doing one of the two competently is important. This may rule out Graham.

Go through these principles, apply them to all 3 players and see who fits. I think the end result will be the right choice

Everything I have read says J. Graham is the best value here.

Moeaki is natural bender who gets into his routes quickly off the line and displays good body control as a route runner. Maintains good balance down the field and is able to cleanly snap out of his breaks, creating separation as a route runner. Is a smooth athlete who extends his arms away from his frame and plucks the ball well with his hands. Lacks great explosion down the field but does a nice job selling his routes underneath and getting on top of linebackers quickly. Moeaki quickly gets his head around out of his breaks and uses his frame nicely to shield linebackers away from the ball. But he needs to do a better job avoiding defenders off the line and getting a cleaner release into his routes.

He might be the best blocking tight end in the nation. Possesses the athleticism to quickly get into blocks Moeaki exhibits impressive natural power and leverage on contact and is a bear to disengage from. Has the lower body strength to consistently win at the point of attack and possesses ideal technique and hand placement. Has the ability to eventually win a starting tight end spot on an NFL roster because of his ability to block and contribute in the pass game. Can win battles in both the run and pass game.

He's certainly not the best blocking TE. He might be the best blocking TE who's also a receiving threat, but that's debatable.

As far as Graham goes, I thought the conversation was about Garrett. Nonetheless, I'd still have Moeaki or Pitta above Graham.

I like Arenas as a situational player (Nickelback/red zone, PR/KR, and since Ray Rice he's the most interesting prospect to replace Kevin Faulk as third down back).

Seen all I need to see. Moeaki is my binky, but he's often injured, and I think Graham is going to be an absolute gem, whilst his triangle numbers are off the charts. I was expecting him to in the second round, for him still to be there at the end of the third is unbelievable value.

I think he'd pair wonderfully with Crumpler (so long as we commit to making use of our TE's much more).

I think the middle of the Draft is where the Pats start taking these kinds of chances, and I should too.
