Colston is a stud for NO. Since NO will franchise Brees, Colston will be a true FA. We should be so lucky as to get him.

i dont see Brees going anywhere but the Saints they dont need to put the TAG on him he will give them more time to work out a deal, as for Colston i could see him geting the TAG the pats wont even take a look at him because Welker is a FA and will be makeing over 10 million next year,

i would like to see the pats cut Ocho next year and bring in Reggie Wayne i think they could get him for the same money Ocho is makeing right now 6 or 7 million

This looks about right to me

I think Molden gets brought back. I'm pretty ambivalent about Koppen and BJGE. Warren can stay on the shadow roster, but I would hope to not need him on the 53.

back in 2012

Wes Welker,
Matthew Slater,
Kyle Love,
Brian Hoyer,
BJGE,
Dan Connolly,
Dan Koppen,
James Ihedigbo,

not back in 2012

Niko Koutouvides,
Antwaun Molden,
Gerard Warren,
Shaun Ellis,
Gary Guyton,
Nate Jones,
Bret Lockett,
Lousaka Polite,
Kevin Faulk,
Tracy White,

could want more then the pats will pay ?

Andre Carter,
Mark Anderson,
Deion Branch,

BJGE will not be on the Pats next year.

Tracy White is a special teams demon who is also an adequate back-up, he stays. Andre Carter will be back if he wants to be, same for Anderson. Deion Branch isn't going anywhere unless he thinks its time to retire. Ihedigbo stinks at safety. He's a special teamer and not much else. He should go.

I used to think like that, regarding Koppen, and I hated seeing him get blown up but now seeing how much our protection has suffered and how deteriorated our run-blocking has become, I am not so sure anymore. I think I would like to see him back for at least 1-2 more years. At least until we get a legit center groomed. Neither Connolly or Wendell are starter quality centers.

PP, i will always defer to ur opinions in football....but i saw the same thing you did when Koppen was the starter, and i do NOT see the C getting blown up like that now, (in pass protection, i cannot comment on the effect in run blocking, though i have liked the run blocking the last month or so)

i remember Koppen would get abused by the best DT, NT, but that when Connolly was in there, that was not the case, maybe the connection between C-QB is not the same with another guy instead of Koppen, but it honestly does not seem to have affected the offense that much negatively (or at all really)
