Meh...I guess to each their own. When I come to YOUR forums and participate in the conversations, I EXPECT to see stuff like that. I mean, it's YOUR forum afterall. I see it here on almost every thread, and it doesn't bother me at all. I guess I'm just not the sensitive type when it comes to that stuff.

I don't lay the Pollard stupidity on the fan base as a whole. There have certainly been some gems posted here over the years that I strongly disagreed with. Any fan celebrating an opposing QB getting placed on IR for the season probably doesn't think much of his or her team as he is counting on the absence of an important opposing player to pave the way to success.

As for the Steelers, it has a great fan base. The fact that the team is 8-7 and fans want to see the team make it to the playoffs speak volumes of those fans. Anything can happen once a team makes it to the playoffs. Not sure if its the Steelers' year with the defense as it is and a gimpy Polamalu, but who knows what can happen.

As a Pats fan, I could care less who gets in as any division winner running scared of the wild card opponent probably has issues down the line and probably would not enjoy much of the post-season.

Wishing injury upon a player is generally frowned upon in here, and sometimes Mods do delete those types of threads. But when nobody deletes a "Bernard Pollard fan club" thread, then anyone who condones that, or doesn't bother to do anything about it, is equally as base as the OP.

Agreed. Can't say I recall the thread you're speaking of, but I'm not always active on those sites. Like here, I'm kinda in and out depending on my mood. If there was indeed a thread somewhere on a Steelers fan site, that definitely shoulda been squashed immediately by the mods. I've seen it here a few times too though, perhaps not as blatantly, but still.....I agree though, that's never cool.

And peanut butter sandwiches only work for me when we're adding jelly/jam/fluff. At least I think fluff would still work for me. I haven't had a peanut butter and fluff sandwich for, probably, 20 years or more.

And wow...Fluff?! Now that's going back a ways. Do they still sell that stuff? That was definitely a favorite as a kid, but it almost REQUIRED a glass of milk. Needed something to wash it down so you didn't choke to death! Hahaha....Fluff. Good stuff.

that's true but Sanchez just isn't taking that team to the playoffs IMO

The defense they have is scary and with a decent QB they could be pretty dangerous but he just isn't ready

You never know though. Maybe he'll stop being a chokeasaurus rex and do his part on offense and they might do something
