Marv did a great job, and I thought he was a great choice when it happened. However, try as I might, I just can't muster any enthusiasm for your QB. Maybe it's his injury past. Maybe it's his arm strength. Maybe it's something else. Whatever it is, I'm just not sold on the kid, although I preferred him to Losman even last season.

You have a point. It's because he couldn't do anything but run for his life at Stanford behind a rancid OL. He only played 9 games his senior year and was injured the rest of the time.
