They're Rams fans, cut them some slack. It's not like the past 15 years have given them anything better to do than speculate about conspiracy theories relating to their soft, overrated team getting punched in the mouth a decade and a half ago.

Although I am actively hoping they lose their team. They deserve no better.

Well, blowhardism of King aside, that was a well thought out answer to the average dummy's email question. King said (A) It's fashionable to call them cheaters (aka we hate that they win all the time!), (B) Patriots brought some of it on themselves for Spygate, (C) he doesn't believe the cheating meme and (D) doesn't believe deflategate was sufficiently proved.

Again call him what you will but for a national writer to print something so accurate, despite the torch carrying dumb masses, it deserves a nod.

Remember, this 'scandal' has significant media career booster potential. The dumb masses want red meat because, largely, the Patriots win far too much. For guys like Russo, he can throw it to them to pad his bank account.

you love for the patriots is tainted love my friend. we no longer can say things like sore losers are gonna sore lose, The patriots are multi time cheaters and major rule breakers. we are the most penalized team in nfl history(losing two first round picks here, losing a pick to the jets for BB) the patriots are the evil empire.

I may be in the vast minority on this, however, I don't see any reason to consider the name 'evil empire' as a bad thing.
As far as "most penalized team", that was the Raiders at their peak. Did they lose any sleep over it? Put another way, if the Patriots can win the next two SBs but it will mean the League will come after more draft picks and the name 'Evil Empire' gets cemented further, why is it of any importance what 'they' think? Consider how much it will stick in the craw of 'them' (the dumb masses) if the Patriots keep winning. That's the kind of ongoing awesome that is rare and sweet.
