Also unearthed this nugget while out in farm country: New England tackle Matt Light is evidently the year-'round Santa Claus of his old high school, Greenville High, in nearby Greenville, Ohio. Equipment and uniforms and shoes sometimes just show up there, and everyone asks, "Where'd this come from?'' But they figure it out pretty easily.

"Yeah, hi, I got a delivery of four tackling dummies. Where do you want me to put 'em?"

"We didn't order any tackling dummies. . . ."

Good for him.

I am a senior citizen plus 12 years. I don't intend to ever grow

up. I will attend Patriots' games so long as I am able to walk from

the parking lot to my seat.

It's great to hear stories like this about the Patriot players. This is the type of character that explains why the team character is overall so good. Yes...there are slipups and always will be, but by and large, the Pats team is all about good character.
