Perfect Brady Ending

I think if the Pats win the SB Brady will retire. I think it would be be the perfect ending, Especally if they pull of 19-0, Think about it 6 QBs ahead of him 6 SB how would that not be the perfect way to end it.

I could see him just taking the Lombardi Calling over JG and handing it to him saying he is the man and walks away

Heh.

I can't help but notice that you posted this at 0522, Eastern.

That's 0222, VegasTime.

But I'm not judging...Nothing wrong with a few pre-Post Fizzy Lifting Drinks.

I don't care much for the transition from Brady to Garoppolo but as much as I enjoy watching him operate, it's my sincere hope Brady, when the time comes, leaves a season early than a season late. I don't want him becoming a shell of himself playing for some crap team. I want him to retire as a Patriot and with one, last Super Bowl win (whichever season it may be).
I definitely don't want him ending on a mediocre or marred season.. like even 9-7 not nearly good enough for his final year, so yes I hope his last year is at least 12-4 and an AFC title game at least. Plus I like it that he is rarified air.. I want it to be as long as he is great, so they will always be talking about him. He already has the championships obviously and the winning seasons. Imagine if he (and the Patriots ) have SIX more seasons in the same realm as the last 6 with Brady. 12-4 to 14-2 and at least 2 Lombardis. Brady then goes out with 7, 46 years old, every single record including longevity. I see no reason to care about Jimmy G if (Big IF) Brady can play roughly about the same for 6 more years. Jimmy G is irrelevant if you get 5 or 6 more years of Brady. The next great things (mulitple) will be coming along by then anyway.

The perfect Brady ending is marrying my daughter.
Are you saying she's part of some splinter Mormon polygamy cult?

She must be, because it seems likely Giselle is as firmly entrenched at the top of the Tom Brady spousal depth chart as Brady himself is on the Patriots QB roster.

Apparently there is competition

Dude come on.
You said if Brady is injured when he is healthy the job is garopollos INDEFINITELY. So when Brady is ready to play he doesn't.
Injured or suspended does not matter because we are taking about after he is healthy. if jimmy had 4 games like the half he played against miami what happens in your mind?

It is clear to me now you do not understand what I am trying to say.

Lets re-establish my position.

Brady is significantly better than Jimmy. End of story. What we don't know is 70% of Brady > 100% of Jimmy? Not sure. What we do know is a 100% Brady blows a 100% Jimmy out of the water.

If Brady is injured and CANNOT play, Jimmy will start at Qb INDEFINITELY until such time Bill deems Brady > Jimmy.

I think that clarifies my position on the matter.

So if Brady is injured when he is healthy you agree he gets his job back?

You were seeming to make this a Bledsoe/Brady example.

But if Brady gets the job back when he is no longer injured how is it a competition?

So if Brady is injured when he is healthy you agree he gets his job back?

If BB deems him healthy enough to give the team a better chance to win than Jimmy, yes.

You were seeming to make this a Bledsoe/Brady example.

In all honesty that is exactly where I was going but in a different way. We've heard Bill say Brady outperformed Drew in the 01 preseason and the only thing holding him back from starting was his inexperience. We also saw Tom out-play Drew on the field in 01. So, it was clear that BB decided that 1) Tom was a better QB than Drew and 2) TB12 gave the team a better chance to win.

Once Drew was healthy, Tom kept the job because he outplayed Drew and even as a player who only started a handful of games, was already a better QB who gave the team a better chance to win.

Everything is earned there and nothing is given.

But if Brady gets the job back when he is no longer injured how is it a competition?

When I stated that, I meant is as competition in the sense of how a boxer has a sparring partner. For example, dating myself here but Larry Holmes was a sparring partner for Muhammed Ali. In the mid 70s ,Ali wanted Holmes because he pushed him. I think Jimmy does that a little for Tom. In the Pats case, its BB creating "competition" in the form of a mind game with Tom. To where you are going with "competition", is there "real" competition between TB12 and Jimmy? Hell no.

Are you saying my daughter isn't good enough for Brady to leave his billionaire supermodel wife for?

I honestly think he's going to play until he no longer can. He still has they chip on his shoulder, you can see it everyday he trains. I also think he wants to win another 2 Super Bowls and i wouldn't put it pass him to do it..

It's going to be a mixed emotions the day he retires..

I agree; he's compulsively competitive. I think he's being 100% truthful when he says he's going to play "until [he] sucks."

Fans of other NFL teams can call us greedy pigs all they want but the more Super Bowl wins the better!
