Pats re-sign Josh Gordon

They DIDN'T "sign" him. All he did was sign the tender that was given to him months ago. What it DOES mean, at least to me, is that there IS a pathway for him to play this season. I'm not sure what exactly it is though. But we will soon find out. Otherwise why do it.

Let's hope for the best :)

There are no statistics about future events.

If you want to count on Gordon being there for the Pat's by all means, but I prefer a more reliable option

If you ignore the 4 or 5 seasons hes already failed to play in or finish a season then sure.

Pats fans aren't supposed to be "those" fans
Look through the red, white and blue glasses again.

Everything is beautiful.

That was fast.

They started working on the deal 4/20

Lol

I am hoping for the best but in the end it's only hope.

As long as the money accounts for the fact that he's overwhelmingly likely to never play a full season for us, I'm fine with it on the off chance that he turns his life around.

Be careful man, WE DONT KNOW THAT!!!!

The thread makes it seem like they signed him to a new longterm deal.

Him just signing the tender isn't newsworthy.

Last season, 2 days before the start of Browns training camp Gordon opted out because he needed to find himself.

Then he splits on the Pat's just before the post season.

The farmers almanac is more reliable than Gordon

We know what he is. In fact, we don't even know if hes even going to PLAY this season. Do we?

Nope. Lots of unknowns. When I find myself in this position, I generally leave it to wiser heads. That might be anybody on this board. It is certainly Bill Belichick.

Far as I can tell, hes only played in 4 seasons and didnt finish two of them.

So I'm the ******* because I think it's a trend we can count on instead of living innate fantasy world where everything is peaches and cream

A signing that's a big smoke (haha) screen before Thursday.

WR at 32 if they don't move up.

Belichick has already been wrong on this very matter. Fact.

State directly the matter on which BB is wrong. You might be right.

He's played in '12,'13,'14, '17 and '18. That's 5 seasons.
