i would settle for one who doesnt abuse drugs drive drunk or one that can stay healthy for a entire year .

Now for Reiss and Tomase...

6 years, $32 million, I have a hard time believing those numbers. Hopefully a lot of the money is incentive-based and at the end of the contract.

Just saw Curran on FSN...claims it is NOT true..says he's going to Tenn and then Mia...so two days covered..he says no deal...YET,,,but would love to see him.

Drew Rosenhouse is an attention freak --- I'll bet there is incentives and fake years....

If this is true, I sure that this contract is low-risk for the Patriots. Stallworth is a great weapon that could add a lot to our offense, but he could just as easily turn in to a self-destructive bust, IMO.

However, I trust that Belichick and Pioli made the right decision, of course! :rocker:

I don't know if claims of what someone saw on a message board is exactly confirmation...especially if it isn't Patsfans.

Stallworth has just as much talent as Branch. He wasn't happy playing for a bunch of losers in New Orleans, but was well-liked and didn't have any problems in Philly.

Keep the faith, shirtsleeve! If the Patriots did indeed sign Stallworth, I guarantee Belichick and Pioli covered the team adequately, in the event that things "don't work out."

Read the article provided, it says it was confirmed by Rosenhouse's office. That's pretty reliable confirmation, if it's true.
