Pats, Stallworth Agree to Six-Year Deal

ComcastSportsNet.com

The New England Patriots have agreed to a six-year, $32 million deal with wide receiver Donté Stallworth.

The contract has been confirmed to Comcast SportsNet by the office of Drew Rosenhaus, Stallworth's agent.

In 12 games last season, his first with the Eagles after arriving in a trade with the Saints, Stallworth had 38 receptions for 725 yards and five touchdowns. He missed four games with a hamstring injury.

(more coming .. )

Re: Patsf sign Stallworth

Mike Dowling of WCVB-5 just reported the following:

"Reports: Pats sign Stallworth to 6-year, $32 million contract."

I was watching the same.

Re: Patsf sign Stallworth

That's alot of money for an average WR

Re: Patsf sign Stallworth

Oh come on, he's not going to be getting high in the locker room...

He and Bill's son will be smoking out behind the equipment shed!

6-year, $32 million? Let's hope there's a great deal of fake money there. He doesn't seem like a $5m/year player to me.

lol lol lol in that case lets get him signed .

Re: Patsf sign Stallworth

is this believeable? I swear ... here we go again???? How can one FA be signed twice (or maybe not). LOL

I hope there isn't a double jeopardy rule!

It's nice to hear the rumors are true though.

Re: Patsf sign Stallworth

A 100 replies later and we finally get a confirmation. :woohoo:

Now for Reiss and Tomase...

6 years, $32 million, I have a hard time believing those numbers. Hopefully a lot of the money is incentive-based and at the end of the contract.

Drew Rosenhouse is an attention freak --- I'll bet there is incentives and fake years....

Re: Patsf sign Stallworth

It says the Pats have OFFERED him a deal but he will still meet with Miami and Tennesee. Keep your fingers crossed. I wont trust that website. Comcastsports or w/e. PFT, nor NFL.com nor anyone else reported it!
