What in your opinion is the best source for information on the Pats besides this forum? Being from NJ, just trying to know more about the Pats. Got a trial subscription to the Boston Globe via the Internet and I am still questioning their opinions and inside knowledge, what do you think about the Globe? How about other internet sites?

Thanks in advance for your help

I’ve heard great things about the Boston Herald. They’re a news brand that ALWAYS vets their sources. Especially when it comes to breaking news the night before huge games (such as the Super Bowl).

I'm from NJ also, I just go on here or type patriots on Google and it'll show Patriots related twitter posts, also have them on Facebook along with NFL and SNF.

This forum has everything. I use the News tab on the main page and click through various articles now and then but pretty much anything I read outside of this forum is already posted somewhere in a thread.

I have a subscription to Boston Sports Journal which I would recommend if you follow the Sox, Celtics, Bruins etc.. but if you're only looking for Pats stuff this forum has it all.

For me it is:

1.) This forum.
2.) Pro Football Talk (knowing the league helps with Pats news)
3.) Twitter (Start with Lazar, Reiss, Curran, and Schefter)

It is hard to get specific news these days....it is why I visit fan forums for my fantasy football research....fans know their **** better than national media/fantasy projectors....

Stick with the Boston legends such as Ron Borges and John Tomase.

I think a lot of the breaking news stuff is made up by the source or even the reporter so long as they can put something together enough to sell it. Have a few real facts then make up some to make a story fit.

Someone on the board broke the Julius Peppers signing in 09. Oh wait
