Pats in first place for Wild Card

No one wants the patriots to lose a 3rd game to an AFC team this early, but to say that a 3-3 patriot team has no chance of making the playoffs is quite ridiculous. Let for a moment, have us lose the precious third game to an AFC team tonight.

The playoff division winners would go. Since we are competing for a wild care spot, I guess Buffalo wins the division in this scenario.

DENVER, TENN, PITT, and BUFFALO are in. If we lose tonight, there would be NO other teams with winning records in the AFC, other than the division leaders, NONE.

How is it that we NO CHANCE with three AFC losses so early. Given the schedules of the various teams, which teams would be so likely to beat us out that think that we would have NO CHANCE?

If the Pats want any shot of making the playoffs, they have to win tonight. I say this because they don't want to lose a 3rd game to an AFC team. I would rather see most of the Pats loses come from NFC teams than AFC teams.

Totally ridiculous...3-3 and give up..NO CHANCE!! That is totally crazy when one looks at the AFC records..It's amazing that if the Pats lose that only the four divisional leaders will have better than .500 records. If that happens, it's all wide open for many teams, not only the five 500 teams, but the five other teams with four losses.

Yes, we would be in a ten team logjam competing for the wildcard spots. At this point of the year, it makes sense that 14 of the 16 teams are still in the race (with only Cinci and KC having NO CHANCE).

I do believe that we have one of the best teams of that group of 10, as well as one the softest schedules, relatively speaking of course.

AFC Standings

1. Tennessee Titans (6-0) [Home-Field]
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) [Home-Field]
3. New England Patriots (5-2)
4. Denver Broncos (4-3)
---
5. Buffalo Bills (5-2)
6. Baltimore Ravens (4-3)

A) Steelers ahead of Pats due to better conference winning percentage.
B) Patriots ahead of Bills due to better division winning percentage.
C) Ravens ahead of Jets due to better conference winning percentage.

That game against the Steelers looks big now...and..are you sure the Colts will beat the Titans??

That's really interesting that we'd be a hair away from a bye if the playoffs were to happen tomorrow. Here's hoping it keeps up!
