I believe they are practicing at Georgia Tech. Not sure about their hotel.

They are practicing at Georgia Tech, I have no idea what hotel

Although I am not from ATL, I have visited there fairly often, and am familiar with the area. I was thinking Georgia Tech and the Westin in downtown ATL.

If practicing at Ga Tech, then staying in midtown would make sense....Four Seasons would be a good place

The New England Patriots will be staying downtown at the city’s second-largest hotel, the 1,260-room Hyatt Regency Atlanta, which is well known for its iconic atrium. The Pats will be much closer to all the Super Bowl action, which is centered around Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Centennial

Look for the hotel with an armed battalion stationed around it.

This.

For SB 49, I couldn't even get close to the hotel. I could have parked a mile away and walked through the desert...didn't.

For SB 51, I was able to walk on the sidewalk outside and see a big Patriots bus for player families. But couldn't even approach the lobby. However, across the street in the Galleria...I saw Scott Zolak and gave him a big, "Yo!". Also, my wife saw Linda Holliday's daughters walking in front of us....(she follows Linda on IG).

For SB36 me and my father accidentally wandered into their hotel not knowing that was where they were staying. Ran into Willie, Seymour, and Cox in the lobby.

The Patriots are being protected in Atlanta by heavily armed police officers

wonder if there's been some kind of threat...

let's hope lives don't get seriously affected just because of sports
So this is not normal?

“Super Bowl is designated a SEAR Level 1 National Security event by the Department of Homeland Security.”

And with that warning, Super Bowl swings into action every year under the watchful eye of what seems like more security personnel than guard the president on a summit meeting with his counterpart in Moscow.
Super Bowl security ramped up ahead of Patriots vs Rams

I merged my thread with this one which I should have seen.
