Thats the thing the recent scouting reports supposedly haven’t been great for either one. If the rams are still sellers after sunday we should look into alaric jackson.

Fortunately pretty much all teams who have a chance to pick ahead of us need qb so someone really really good should be there for us.

That’s been my guy for awhile. If they traded for him before the deadline I’d be pretty stoked.

I don’t know what their cap situation is but I hope its bad. I know he was suspended for 2 games to begin the season by the team but not sure what for. The unit has been stringing together some good games so I’m not sure they want to break the continuity they got going or not? I know Kyren Williams has been ripping off some great games. Also, getting Nacua and Kupp back could kickstart that team and organization into win mode.

Bourne had a couple of decent years when he first joined the team, before he got in trouble for speaking truth to power and calling out the coaches for letting the players down when the coaches were letting the players down. The he spent a year or two in the doghouse before getting injured. So I’m hoping that we give him enough time to come back from the injury, return to using him effectively again, and he returns to being a productive member of the receiving corps.

Definitely, like a few have said, we shouldn’t be parting ways with a player of his skillset for a bag of balls. When he was playing well for both us and the 9ers he had a knack for getting open and a talent for going up and getting It. He’s not Higgins and he’s no Jefferson but does bring something that I think Maye and Brissett could use. Unless its a 3rd or 4th, I’m not budging. I think he could be that player for us again.

Cool: LT's are so hard to find these days and if you can get one that is a Good player, you go get him ten out of ten times. Like I said before we must have some budding Hofer's already playing there.

WHY WERE WE NOT IN ON Cam Robinson and Dionate Johnson?

We could have easily absorbed their salaries or given them an extension before FA in 2025, no?

He’s a fantasy football players dream. Crushed it for me with Amari last year and Downs for me this year. He’ll always be a Rat Tird in my book with an illegal come back route which drew a ton of needless pi calls which was his bread and butter. But he does a have a purpose in life.

I was hard on him.. but IF he can stay healthy he seems to be rounding up to serviceable as a tackle.. he's in a great position where the team will have to pay him while I still think they draft a LT.

Same for the LT class. Wirfs got the mega deal, Robinson traded to the Vikings. The names are shrinking.

Still have Alaric Jackson, Garret Boles, Ronnie Stanley as options but teams seem to be locking up their LT’s before they can hit the market. Robinson trade was because they lucked into another LT.

I am very intrigued by LB Dre Greenlaw from the 49ers. He was a stud in coverage before the freak injury in last years super bowl. Think he would be a very interesting piece if healthy.

Yeah I like Greenlaw too. Of course Warner is the marquee player in SF, but Dre is the heartbeat of that defense (their words, not mine). He’s physical AND good in coverage. Ideal…I also wonder if Conklin is available in CLE. We could use some help at tackle, obviously..

Right now, it looks like Bourne has lost a step (which is expected a bit after ACL surgery and rehab I’m sure) . Will definitely have to see how things play out the more he’s on the field… if they could get a decent pick back, I would move him tomorrow I think

I do wonder if Wolf is taking the youth movement to heart. Robinson has a few years left, but Wolf has purposefully been staying away from any older veterans except on cheap, short-term deals. I think he's trying to build the true strength of the team through the draft.

There are no upcoming FA of his caliber. We need to get away from the 3s and 4s and sign a real game changer. Higgins had hamstring issue he was dealing with in the offseason.. however it could be also contract related as he didn't really want to sign the tender. Who knows. I know I'd like to have him.

What about finding a person who can draft a WR?

Lure someone away from the Steelers who obviously know how to identify that position. Calvin Austin looks like another gem.

Tampa has had Evans and Goodwin forever. Seattle has had DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett what seems like decades.

#1 need right now is a RT. Trade for Conklin from the Browns or Moton from the Panthers. Lowe has been playing pretty well this year at LT and hes under contract for next season too. Would be nice if we didnt have to start a practice squad level RT.

Kind of a side note but some good young offseason FA targets are:
Rams LT Alaric Jackson (move Lowe to RT or backup)
Chiefs LB Nick Bolton
Raiders DE Malcolm Koonce
Dolphins FS Jevon Holland (especially if Peppers is gone)
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (depending on trade compensation and how much Boutte, Polk, Baker show by the end of year)
