Same for the LT class. Wirfs got the mega deal, Robinson traded to the Vikings. The names are shrinking.
I missed the Robinson trade. Thank god the Pats weren't in on it since it was probably a major pick that got traded.
Minnesota (5-2) has agreed to terms to acquire left tackle Cam Robinson and a 2026 conditional seventh-round pick from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick.
Mother @#$%er.

It wasn't much mike, but the Wolf is sitting on his hands.

I love MacMillen and Hunter but they have to go LT with their first pick. If the scouting reports come down that Campbell and Banks aren’t worthy of a high pick they will have a tough choice to make, but if the value is close they have to go LT.
Depends on what they do in free agency and what happens the rest of the season at the position. They could also have their heart set on a 2nd round talent they believe in.

Hunter just shut down McMillan pretty much for the 2nd year in a row last week. Passing on a generational talent would be foolish. If you can draft Champ Bailey you do it and don’t think twice. Not that they are going to get the number 1 pick.

I’m all about the LT and agree it should be the number 1 priority of the team. However, certainly not drafting one just because they are a LT. And yes, you mentioned that “if they are comparable” then go with the LT. I agree with that.

But this team can’t afford to miss. If the LT class ends up being like the 23 draft it would be a big blow. Paris Johnson, Skoranksi, Wright and Jones so far have been just guards and rts. Can’t have that. I’ll take a playmaker every day.

I know, it was pretty tough to read that minuscule compensation. Especially when we have a real need at the position.

However, like some have mentioned, it takes two to tango etc. But I wonder if they even reached out?

Unless someone offers a 3rd I wouldn’t trade Bourne, and no one is going to give a 3rd for him. He’s too valuable as a leader for really young WR room.

Calling Bourne a “leader” kind of gives me the feeling I’d get if I left my 5 year old in charge of babysitting my 3 year old.

Isn't leader for young men's job go to Matthew Slater. Ain't that why he be paid?

Thats the thing the recent scouting reports supposedly haven’t been great for either one. If the rams are still sellers after sunday we should look into alaric jackson.

Fortunately pretty much all teams who have a chance to pick ahead of us need qb so someone really really good should be there for us.

Right? I felt when he first signed here he seemed to be that guy. He’s had some strange quotes over the last couple of seasons though. Maybe rightfully so after rightly or wrongly being put in the doghouse by a defensive coordinator put in charge of the offense. I imagine it would be tough to be a good leader after all the dysfunction around there the last. Ouple of seasons. But maybe he can be that guy again? If he gets back in the lineup and does good things thats a positive direction. Seems to find a knack for getting open and Maye or Jakoby could ise a guy like that.

My only source of acceptance right now is quality starting LTs are usually only available at such a premium these days. Theres gotta be something going on with him that made him available for a 4th at most. He missed half of 2023 but otherwise pretty durable as you can ask. Performance wise seems fine.

I don't get the love for K Bourne around here: I think he's a mediocre WR who could be easily replaced.
Well.. it's just that we know what he is.. he's only 28.. it's not like he's juju.. KB is usually sure handed and reliable.. he could be a trouble brown type of presence for drake.. he's not #1.. he's a boundary, crossing route type of player. Remember he was Ballin last season prior to getting hurt. He was making plays on the outside too.
Bourne had a couple of decent years when he first joined the team, before he got in trouble for speaking truth to power and calling out the coaches for letting the players down when the coaches were letting the players down. The he spent a year or two in the doghouse before getting injured. So I’m hoping that we give him enough time to come back from the injury, return to using him effectively again, and he returns to being a productive member of the receiving corps.

Dude is in second place just behind Juju for being the #1 social media loving diva. Grated he has aged a little, but it only takes one visit over to his IG stories to realize he still very immature. I had to unfollow because it felt so cringe every time I seen one of his uploads.

He was also very productive last year once he got out of the doghouse before the injury. This is all with mac jones throwing to him too

He’s been around for 8 years. He’s not old but not a spring chicken either. If Robinson hits all the targets the Jaguars will receive a 4th round pick which is pretty good for them.
Some have speculated some disconnect I guess if you read up on it.
I
All eyes will be on Walker Little in Jville now. Seems like he’s up for it. Played pretty well in Robinson’s absence last year and is still on a rookie deal.
