Still traumatized by the final 1986 preseason game.
Wow, those aren't the sentiments of a diehard fan. I love watching the first three preseason games from start to finish. It's the first opportunity to get a sense of new players individually and in various combinations, what their potential might be and who you might be drawn to root for making the team. Preseason is unique that way, where player evaluation means more than winning -- a fun, different way to enjoy the game.Despite the looooong wait I'll have had from watching any NEW Patriots live action, this happens to me... almost every time.
1. I'm all psyched beforehand... settle in with a nice glass of bourbon. Neat.
2. Watch the first series. Who the heck are these guys.
3. Watch the SECOND series. Who the heck are THESE guys.
4. Start messing around on the iPhone.
5. Turn off the TV before halftime.
Wow, those aren't the words of a diehard fan.
Here's motivation for you to watch these games. Do you really want to trust the media with their own agenda's and clickbaiting garbage? Why subject yourself to their lies when you can evaluate the players yourself and get a true understanding of where the players are at?Thanks! That’s so sweet of you to say.
I sense sarcasm. Thanks! That’s so sweet of you to say.
Either that, or start a thread on a team message board declaring your casual fandom by expressing disdain for preseason games.Tunes and I are sympatico...I don't give a shyt if it's tag football in the Razor parking lot...just enjoy every facet of being a Pats fan

Fauria drives me crazy on a number of levels.
Well, I've seen many otherwise stout souls fall victim to demon bourbon. That is why I only drink craft dry ciders without sulfites made from locally grown apples. Besides all that, I never get drunk and have no idea where you live or hide your stash.See, now, you’re just being cruel... or maybe you discovered my bourbon stash and you’re one of those mean drunks .
I'll be interested in seeing how the Pats divvy up the numbers for the practice game with the Lions. I'm sure Jacobi Meyers won't be wearing 69, JWilliams won't be 51 and Stidham won't be 58.
