Not his fault our so called #1 QB foot in mouth Mayo can't get a WR like Thornton the football. He's looked good in practice but has not played with Maye who I know won't miss him if he's open. Sucky OL and QB play have hindered Thornton up to this point. Yeah I wanted to give up too but the facts or the facts he has an excuse. IF they give up on Thornton and he goes to a Team with QB who can hit him in stride we are going to be sorry he's running with our so called Ones for a reason.

PF2 my brother. Mayo was just toting the company line.. he now has seen first hand that Drake could be the starter and that's good for TT if he is. I think he's making this roster. His elite speed is sorely needed in this offense. I think the team is just being cautious with him due to past history.. he has had a good camp even getting behind lockdown gonzo.

None of that matters if Baker keeps dropping balls.

The coaching staff had Baker practicing with the 3rd team on Saturday. The PatsFans posters did not have Baker playing with the third team, the coaching staff did. Why do you think the coaches put Baker on the third team?

I don't Know. Seriously not trying to be a hardo.. just don't Know why. Maybe just mixing up the players. Because from camp reports he's been with the first team offense and has been the consistent deep threat.

For those that care and don’t like being surprised: Thornton has 0 catches through two preseason games.

Context is king, so we should also say that he has played 16 snaps and had 1 target that was under thrown.

We know the coaches see more I think Baker can contribute from Day 1. The good in all this its Preseason and not the regular season.

Agree brother. All I know is I watch patriots unfiltered perillo has been doing this for a while.. they show the fan first hand coverage of the camp practices... baker has been with the first team offense... so I don't Know why he was with the 3rd team.. then again in preseason there is so many mixing and matching with combinations hard to tell what's 1st, 2nd or 3rd.. his ability is clear. His deep threat along with tyqan could unlock this offense for sure.

I think KJ is a roster lock. Reagor I feel will be on the roster. KB will start on PUP. So that may make Reagors roster spot safe for now. So I'm thinking.. pop, polk,Baker,KJ, Thornton, reagor...

I am leaning towards K Boutte over Reagor and Osborn I think he has more upside with the right QB Maye of course.

Ozzy has had a good camp and has excellent hands and is a savy vet.. I like Boutte.. but he has no STs value so he's likely a PS player. What do you think?

Absolutely agree. During pre- season even when goat was here.. he was throwing to guys that were going to be working at legacy Plaza in Dedham after cut downs..

You don't like the 8 million dolla man.. lol Mayo's tones has changed.. I think it's definitely open competition no matter what 1st or 2nd team reps maye daye takes.. he's the better QB hands down.. Sammy Howell 5th rounds pick beat him out.
