You are correct. Branch filled an immediate need that led to a SB but was a short term solution. Wright was better long term and an integral part of Seattle's last 2 SB appearances. For those that didn't read the previous posts, Maroney was traded to Denver for a draft pick, then Patriots traded that pick to acquire Deion Branch from Seattle. Seattle used that pick from Patriots to select Wright.
