Washington has a really good offense. Definitely top 10. You can't just judge a team by stats because its all relative to who you have played.

They are 2nd in the league in total yards and 9th in scoring, top 10 yes. But which stat means more?

Scoring of course. But there top 10 in both statistics so I am not sure what your getting at?

Number 1 in yards yet 9th in points. If yards were end all be all or if all things were relevent then they would be much higher in scoring.

yeah well I think because of our weak sauce schedule thats why we have done quite well in points allowed. I honestly can't believe you think we have a good defense.
I can't believe you think allowihgvthe 3rd fewest points in the NFL is playing bad defense.

You realize that the patriots schedule isn't that different than anyone else's right?
Do you think allowing 17 points to a team that scores 21 a game us worse than allowing 27 to a team that scores 28?

Well with there relatively weak schedule the only reason why the Patriots haven't blown out more teams is because they let teams go on clock killing drives.

I am really surprised when I see a team punt.

This made me curious. So I picked some random teams:

Forced Punt Percentage of drives:

Baltimore: 51%
LA: 51%
Sea: 42.7%
Den: 42%
Min: 41%
KC: 37.7%

And NE....42%

Ok .. luckily for us we don't play in the AFC west or the NFC east this season. I am not going through every teams schedule but:
How the rest of the Patriots schedule compares to the other AFC contenders

You can't convince me that we had a tough schedule this season its been on of the easiest we've had for awhile. At least 8 teams by the seasons end will be below .500 and that could rise depending on how the Steelers, Ravens and Texans end up. It could very easily mean that more than half the schedule was played against teams with records .500 or worse.

You are joking right?
Half the teams in the league are under .500 and half are over.
That's what everyone plays against for the most part.

You still haven't explained how paying well against an average team is a bad thing.

Defensively we have given up more first downs passing, Than offensive passing first downs for the season.

And for a high powered offense like New England has supposedly:
248 first downs we gained and we gave up a total of 225 first downs against middle to poor offenses.
The numbers are skewed though because of Jacoby starting 2 games.

Surprisingly New England is ranked 7th in yds and 7th in points.

The only team New England will face this year that is as of now top 10 in points scored is surprisingly Buffalo at #8. If you go by yards (which most of us don't) we have faced 2 teams #9 Arizona and #10 Cinci in total yards.

What is New Englands most impressive win this year? Just overall win?

They don't have the 3rd ranked defense in the NFL dude. Show me a link where the Pats are ranked #3 in total defense?

The Patriots have played a weak schedule so far. I am sorry its a fact. After they play Baltimore and Denver that should tell us a little more about this team.

Watch the video lol..
number 3 Defense in NFL

No currently 18 teams have an above .500 record. Thats not half.

per Belichick, stats are for losers other than Scoreboard

Im done we won't know until the playoffs. My eyes tell me they are just another good team. Dallas, New England, Seattle, Oakland, Giants, Denver.. they all have weaknesses.

How many teams have a tough schedule? We're playing a first place schedule and all division games are tough for all teams no matter the records of the teams. This is today's NFL, this is what the powers that be wanted.

The whole team has been impressive in all phases this year. So far they have nine (9)... those were impressive team wins

Ok man... really you like that Browns game? How about that 49'ers game when they targeted edelman 17x for 8 completions and it was 13-10 going into the 4th quarter? That was a 1-10 football team. How about that Jets game we almost lost?
Honestly I haven't been that impressed this season. Well my expectations for a super bowl win has gone down over the past 3 weeks.

Well if your in the NFC east or the AFC west I am sure you have a tougher schedule. This season.

Check out Dallas schedule, much easier than ours. Check out their d stats, much worse than ours.

I would disagree with this. We both play the AFC north and they are in a much tougher division. The vikings , packers and the lions are no gimmes either. What it basically comes down to is which division is tougher to play the NFC North or the NFC West. Other than Seattle the NFC west kinda stinks. Dallas plays the NFC North a pretty balanced division. Even though Greenbays record sucks, they have Rodgers.

It is hard to win the Super Bowl.
