Offseason boredom has hit an all-time high. Looked through future opponents and noticed we're at Dallas next year, and the Boys have to play an AFC team every other year (played Denver in '05) , so it's either us or the Jets. Tough call there.

There goes any possible trip to the Big D - oh well.

EDIT: BTW, that would be our 3rd Thanksgiving game in 8 years. I wonder if any other AFC teams can make the claim.

I wouldn't be so sure about that if Parcells is still the coach. A Parcells/Belichick matchup could wind up being a Sunday night game on NBC. People will still watch football on Thanksgiving regardless and even though they stink at the moment, the Jets do have a pretty big fan base. If Parcells leaves, then I think it has a better chance of ending up as a Thanksgiving Day game.

so...perhaps...throwbacks ? Pat Patriot and red uniforms ? i start to dream !

Also, I believe you have more of a "fixed" audience on Thanksgiving, and that the networks might tend to not mind a mismatch on that day. Plus, *any* game involving the Jets or Giants is huge in the eyes of the networks.
