Pats/Chiefs game flexed

Weak.

Obviously there are 2 teams involved in the game, but KC is a top draw. This game was flexed because of one team and one team only.
Shows how irrelevant the team has become since Brady left. Even in 2020 while the Pats were getting depantsed at home by the 49ers Nantz and Romo were saying they didn’t think they’d be doing many Pats games anymore in the future. Nuff said.

The drop off in talent since the last SB win is huge and that’s without accounting for the loss of the Goat.

Not the first time the Pats have flexed.

Tell us more about these "rumors" please.

The talent was already dropping off that year. The team had to morph to a running team and took an amazing defensive performance in the Superbowl to win that one.

Then 2019 was abysmal throwing sanu/Ben Watson out there as Brady's targets with NewHouse as his tackle. And the offensive talent has been horrid ever since.

And bills roster methods that pushed Brady out the door have not changed

Good news is that we play half of our remaining six games in the next 15 days....

it has been a painful season and getting the game flexed should send a clear message to Kraft in what state his franchise is in.

I have a hunch this was no great surprise to him.

That's what the rumor is. Phil Perry has said he's heard this.

Appearing on MNF is not good for the Patriots, and not really good for the league either.

flexing it was the right move. Patriots are not a quality product this year.

Bob suggesting it would be a smart move on his part. It takes the league and the networks off the hook if they wanted to make the change but worried about how he’d react. I believe Kraft still chairs the committee that oversees the broadcast contracts, so nobody would want to piss him off by suggesting the flex if he wouldn’t like it. He‘s smart enough to realize that, and to know that the Patriots shouldnt be showcased on MNF when the Eagles at Seahawks will be a much better choice.
