Pats are outrushing the Jets so far this year

It's true that the Jets aren't really the ground and pound team they were under Rex but it was still interesting to see that the Pats are running more than the Jets are this year. That hasn't happened very often in recent years. Pats are the #6 rushing team in the league in yards and the Jets are #11. Pats are the #4 team in the league in rush attempts, Jets are #14.

Blount is the #6 RB in the league in yards (802), Forte is #7 (732). Blount is outgaining him per rush by a little (0.1 yards per carry). Both have 5 long runs of 20 yards or more.
 
With that said the Jets are very good stopping the run (#4 in the league in yards) and the Pats are average (#17) and are missing Branch for the next 4. Should be interesting to see how that pans out on Sunday.
