Notice how all those shut-ins at the Planet waited until the first morning of the work week to begin their blitz? They know how to strategize in their mothers' basements. They know we're the ones with jobs (except for our retired elderstatespeople like NEM, Box-O-Rocks, etc.) or who live in other parts of the world. Think it's a coincidence that all this has blasted off around 9am on a Tuesday after a 3 day weekend? Naaaaahhhhh....

Thanks for the tip about backspace/enter!!!! Was closing and revoting every time, this is much faster!~!!!!! Just put in a bunch and will keep it up all day.

A member over there did issue a call for whoever was running the bot to pull it - though I am still skeptical it will stay off.

If they start up again with it I may put one of the interns at work on this to vote all day. Not a Bot, but interns are the next best thing.

Just worth remembering that after not quite a week of honest voting, Patsfans was up 68% to 30%. This shouldn't even be a close race.

If this was a "fair" vote, they would win easily.

This post has nothing to do with NEM's hysterical postings about "doing whatever it takes" to get us disqualified. If anything like that was going to happen, it would have happened to the 3000 member Jet board with 300,000 votes. It just doesn't matter if we win. We don't need the advertising dollars as things stand right now. We'll continue to get new members regardless.

There are plenty of Patriots fans to go around, and each of the Patriots boards from us to Patsfans, to KFFL, to NEFans offer something a little different. If you like it here great, if you like one of the other boards better, great. Participate where it makes you happy."

Peace to the Planet. Undertaker seems like a pretty cool guy. Don't agree that they should desist from voting, however, just no Bots (and no appeals to OTHER TEAMS' boards!) is OK with me.

This website is much more to my liking - - much more informative and it segregates entertainment/interleague/politics, etc. to separate areas so that it doesn't crowd out what most of us come here for.

There's plenty of room in the Patriots fan universe. I wish the Planet nothing but success, and hopefully NEM will call off the paratroopers.

Of course I did learn about the trick about hitting enter and backspace by reading the Undertaker's post over there - but he/they/whoever, deserve credit for shutting off the bot.

For my part I'm ending my repetitive enter/backspace voting response and give credit to Patriots Planet for doing the right thing and reigning in an overzealous PP fan.

Pitting one Patriots fan board against another is very distasteful to me - but if I get punched, I punch back harder - that's just my nature.
