Sure is surprising that it is Thursday and we don't have a kicker. I know Bailey can kick off, but field goals are an entirely different matter. And having Brady hold? no way. How many teams seasons have been blown because of a poor kicker? Lot of coordination (read practice) goes into making a field goal or extra point work.

Sure ... if he can boom kickoffs he must have enough FG ability to get us by for now.

With roster spots being so valuable in the NFL I’m surprised there are no dual threat kicker/punters and center/long snappers. I’m probably oversimplifying their jobs since they’re so similar.

On to reality. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats let Bailey handle kickoff duties and plan to just go for it on 4th down in FG range and 2pt conversions after TD’s for the Skins game.

Why does, " be careful what you wish for, you may get it" come to mind... Ask a few teams, namely SD the last few years and TB about it......
