My guess is BB's just updating his list of who's available for later if someone goes down for a long time and has to be IR'd. Can't see Bequette being released this early in the season.

Well, there's our answer to our lack of pass rush. Seriously though, I'd love to have him back in the team just as a mentor, teach Chandler Jones some moves, teach Jamie Collins some moves. And if he can contribute 4-5 sacks himself, that would be awesome. He was a beast on our defense.

a mentor?...you DO realize that the Tebowites will go beserk because we didn't keep Cho Son Bow as a project woth Brady as HIS mentor...

anyway...I like the move because he is in NFL shape with a full camp and it looks like they want some veteran presence on the edge...then again, they may be just kicking the tires...the way they've been signing and then discarding signees the past month, I wouldn't rule out any possibility.

I would bring him in I bet even at his age he could be very effective as a 3tech pass rusher in sub packages, that’s a spot that won’t require him to have as much speed and athletic ability as working at DE. He is a smart player and is a very hard worker, if Abraham can still play at a high level I am sure Carter could too.
