I might have read it wrong as I only saw the stat flash before it was off the screen, but I'm pretty sure I saw NBC flash a state that illustrated that the Pats are the winningest NFL team in the free agency era... ahead of the Steelers and Packers.

If so that's quite an accomplishment and quite a feather in Bob Kraft's cap!

If anyone has the stat source on that (aside from adding up all the wins and losses) in a link I'd love to have that.

i actually never saw that before tonight but I would have guessed Pats, Steelers, Colt in that order.

Anyway, I think your source is NBC and its good enough.

They had a few other nice stats tonight too. My favorite was Brady's third straight game against Pitt with 300+ yards - only second guy ever to do that.

I've seen that stat before. And if Football Night in America says so, it must be true.

Unless someone comes up with alternate stats, I will believe the media stats guys: patriots, steelers and packers.

The Colts were pretty bad pre-Manning in the 90s and even for Manning's first few seasons.

When it comes to winning, the Patriots and Steelers are the pinnacles of the NFL. The Patriots' .632 winning percentage since free agency began in 1993 is the NFL's best, and the Steelers are second at .627.

W-L-T are in reference to number of winning seasons, number of losing seasons, and number of .500 seasons; not including 2010 since the start of the cap & free agency.
