There’s a chance one of them returns this weekend if they, hypothetically, only exhibited mild symptoms Sunday evening and were flagged by the physician, and were put into the protocol out of an abundance of caution. But with those mild symptoms, they may have cleared up in a day or two and thus be ready for the following Sunday.

just said on NBC sports Boston that the Pats has guys on the injury report with concussion 7 times on Wednesdays last year.... said players missed the following Sunday game every time.... not looking good for Sunday folks

Basically there are 5 phases in the concussion protocol, one of the last of which has them practicing but still limited (4 below). So that means they are both at some earlier stage than 4.
